    Hi Bill thanks for the videos. Is the coating affected by a micrometer when checking bearing clearance?

      What a good question. Wish you got an answer. I would guess the coating thickness is relatively standard and definitely makes a difference.

      @@philhunt1442 Good point and I was wondering whether the coating would affect the clearances too, but I think what he was asking is whether the coating could be damaged by a micrometer when checking the clearance.
