      Amazing how the parents didn’t think any thing of Maddie also sharing their bed, as a couple, between them & their dogs. This is the least alarming thing in the entire case. It’s not unusual, & even Vinnie Politan, Nancy Grace, & many other parents all claim to still share the bed with their children. Many children sleep or co-sleep with their parents, especially “free range” parents who don’t like their children in cribs or “cages” as they claim.

      Leave the mom and dad alone…the parents now know and at least they are being cooperative and giving them everything they need! I actually think the father seems like a nice guy! I’m sure his parents are torn apart…why do they have to cry in front of the cops! This is not their first interview thus far, they have been interviewed many times before this! His son is not the character of the father! I’m sure someone will attack me in the comments about the parents but there’s always someone. This just happened also and his mother is digesting that her son is a monster so let her be! Who cares, it’s about Maddy losing her life to a monster & Jen is the one who should be bat sh** crazy learning her daughter has been murdered & sexually abused!

Even after her death the people who were supposed to be close to her don‘t show any grief but throwing around blame to each other, SSs parents pointing to Jenn instead of even grasping that their son is responsible anyway for Maddies total misery, even if it wasn‘t him who killed her, what he had done til that point😱😱?!? I don‘t hear a word about Maddie gone forever, no word about the horrific childhood she had because of their son!! No matter what bad mother Jenn was-which is tragic and very very sad of course- it was him who abused her in the worst imaginable way and probably him who killed her. The parents sure are aware he has a very strong motive w all the abuse!?
      Terrible to witness how the ones close to Maddie don‘t even seem to care now😭
      ( I‘m not talking about her friends of course! What annoys me is that SS's father keep saying that his son had an inappropriate relationship with Maddy. No Sir, no he didn't. An inappropriate relationship is between a boss and his secretary or a married person and the neighbour or a prisoner and a guard.... not between a drugged child and a fully grown man! What SS did was use an innocent child as a s-x toy, what he did was pure evil. There was no relationship! And inappropriate doesn't even come close.

      I think so too. It sounds easy to kick out your feckless load of a son...but that's the point at which perpetual losers like him slaughter the parents who have supported them and put up with all their crap. So many examples (i. e. Joel Guy Jr...). They knew he had a gun, that if they kick him out he'd be homeless except for Jen. Then she kicked him out (kinda). They were on eggshells. He intimidated them and they kept quiet to preserve what peace they had. They are both smart people. The dad seems really nice n the mom is... interesting. We see what lil Stephen is capable of, they were right to be afraid.

They are just like her - I don't hear them condemning him, they are blaming Jenn more than they are him. THEY are also prioritizing their son more than Maddie - at a few points his Mommy was even sexualizing Maddie as if she tempted him. He abused her from the time she was 8 - he had 1700 videos of himself doing it and 35,000 of other CP and Mommy feels sorry for him. Heinous.

    I am now 63 years old. I've had many years, my whole life of years learning about why my stepfather did what he did, growing up I spent my whole life really trying to come up with a reason my stepfather would hurt me, give me this burden to carry . One thing, important is that this cannot be the first time he's done this . A lot of the comments are from people who have never lived this life. I didn't live the life of a predator I was a victim of the predator , and also my mother allowed it, I've gone full circle with it. My life is consumed with. Sorry, I'm getting off track. Stefans stepdaughter wasn't his first victim. I believe I'm 100% right. I lived with a perpetrator. So I don't understand why his parents don't seem to realize they raised him. He didn't suddenly become this man that does this. He was molded into this man he became. Growing up in your household something was lacking. Your parents don't want to take responsibility for the product they produced. Something was wrong at your house Common sense tells me that

    • @ivonaivona668
      @ivonaivona668 Месяц назад +1

      I disagree. Sometimes you as a parent can do everything right but a child can grow up to be a psychopath, sociopath etc. It's an issue with the brain development and the parents are not the only ones who influence their child's development in general. I'm not saying this the case with Stephen and his parents but in general.

I’ve kept my profession and independence living with a brain tumor until 3 yrs ago and then TBI, is not easy and if someone with disabilities gets support, cool for them. But the purpose of helping someone is seeing them progress, he is stagnated in the life of a teenager, even their interactions with him and getting all stressed out about where is he going and what is he doing. He is an adult, he also has to take responsibility for his actions. Seems like they both were living the same life, because Jen was living in her dad’s house, that is comfortable, but still she needed to make more money from renting the rooms, instead of giving her daughter the privacy she deserved and still her parents and sister were always taking care of Maddy. Might sound harsh, but if she cannot take care of her child, maybe she shouldn’t have custody. Is so sad that Maddy paid the price for these two entitled people.

    Omg this mother is tiring to listen to. These two created an entitled man child and they’re STILL enabling that behaviour. Mom will defend him no matter what and blame everyone else and dad seems tired of him but still does things like pay his way. In my opinion they’re not even surprised, they knew their son was a monster.

    The dad mentioned hanging out with people from two very wealthy neighborhoods, this tells me they were willing to cover up for their son in order to prevent him embarrassing them in their well to do circle of friends. The mother never held him accountable and the father provided for him well beyond an appropriate age. The parents were very worried with appearances.

      @@AmandaGillooly They showed they were not willing to commit a crime. You are confusing not willing to commit a crime by hiding evidence, with being a good person. They showed they are willing to cooperate with police AFTER a child went missing. Stop for a moment and think WHY they were able to say they wouldn't put anything past Stefan? Because they KNEW he was a monster and as long as nobody else knew about it, they were fine. People this concerned with appearance WILL ALWAYS cooperate with police, otherwise people will see and start to talk if they didn't.

    REGARDING CADAVER DOG >>> Fact: a body has to be dead for at least 3 hours before a cadaver dog can pick up a scent. I believe Madeline was drugged. I think he killed her in the car and that's when he put her in the trunk. Then, at some point, he drove her out and put her in that field. He takes the Nissan and goes back out to that location in the middle of the night. By now, Madeline has been deceased long enough and he touched her or did something with her and picked up the scent. In the video, you'll notice the dog hits on the driver's door of the Nissan. That's just one possible theory as to why the cadaver dog hit on the Nissan and not the monster's car.
    I know someone who did body recovery with a cadaver dog for 20+ years. I asked them if a body had to be dead for a certain amount of time because I too was confused about why the dog didn't hit on his car.

      Do u think pehaps all the other scents in that car may have over took the scent of death. The father said that car was used to transport sick and injured poodles. Maybe vomit, feces and dog blood could perhaps confuse the cadaver dog? That's what I was thinking perhaps. What I'm more baffled by is the fact that Stephan walked out of a complex of condos with a human that couldn't walk, had to be carried, and nobody saw or videoed it. I personally work 12 hour night shifts and sometimes get off early and/or late so I'm moving through my neighborhood at all hours, hours most people are sleeping and there will still be people out walking their dogs or leaving or entering their homes. It's surprisingly active even at 3am.

    Stephan is only sad because he’s going to prison forever and his eight year reign of terror on a young child has come to an end. He was living his best life while Maddie suffered and Jenn failed at life.

    This is the first case I’ve ever actually taken notes about, because I really believe that justice cannot be done without Jenn being part of that picture. Stephan’s parents (mom esp.) blame all of his issues on his TBI. They are LUCKY he didn’t pull a Chandler Halderson on them, and by their comments I think they know that.
