I completely agree with you: it’s as if we were in boxes and I’m in box A and you’re in box B and she’s in box C and that’s it! In fact, we’re a multitude of things, although some are more proeminente than others. I’m exceptionally organized in house chores, work, going shopping and day to day tasks in general. I’m never late (I don’t even think that has ever happened), I do one thing at a time from beginning to end and I do a chore quickly and efficiently. However, in my art practice, my art room is a total mess (I clean it and two days later, it’s a mess again 😂), I have several stitching projects at the same time, I’m working on four art journals at the same time at the moment, I never finish an art journal, and I love messy art.
It’s a kind of balance, equilibrium, I guess. And that’s ok. And if I want to learn something less messy, like quilting, that I’ve just learnt with k3n, I try it, not “hiding” behind messy all the time. Being able to explore our multiple sides is very helpful and healthy 🩵🩷💜🩵🩷💜🩵🩷💜🩵🩷💜

@@alexandraalmeida3661 Isn’t it so funny how we’re different in different areas of our lives!? I like how you put it ‘not hiding behind’ - it really can become our too comfortable zones. 🩵💜
