It kinda fits with Kronii's lore ironically. As the Time Warden she knows time is very precious and she doesn't want to miss any moments with her family.
I do love how much kronii loves her family its one of the reasons why I really love watching her because no matter what she plays or says shes wholesome at her core
It's really sweet that Kroni's so family-oriented. You know, for everyone, family means a lot, even if you don't always get along. And honestly, I totally agree with everything she said in that video!
Unfortunately, I think the darkest part about this whole thing isn't anything that Kronii said, but instead it's the fact that most viewers "probably" don't get along enough with their own family to reflect on reasons to NOT move to a different country. This is probably why there's a lot of people who would fly to Japan on a one-way ticket to live there permanently in a heartbeat, but for others who feel similarly as Kronii, it's understandable that moving somewhere far away from family wouldn't bring as much comfort or happiness as the "fantasy" appeal of Japan itself. It's a sad truth, but one that needs to be acknowledged. There are several places in the world that I could view as a great place to move to, but I also prefer staying close to my family unless I can uproot all of them and bring them with me.
Isn't Kronii also Korean-Canadian? If so, there might be a little bit of ... ahem... that Kronii might not want to deal with for months (or years) at a time in addition to being away from Family.

My parents lived on the other side of Canada for almost a decade, being away from them, especially as they are getting older now, was challenging. Especially for my mother, who didn't enjoy being away from her kids and her own mom.
Good for her! Family has become so sadly underrated and taken for granted. If you come from a family who get along, cherish them. Japan isn't all it's cracked up to be, anyway. It's great to visit; not so much to live in.
living in japan is romantized, nice place to visit but moving there? idk it's a totally different culture and has a lot of issues (as a lot of countries do) but it's worsen by the fact that having friends around to make it easier is not gonna last long unless you absolutely love asian culture and mindset, aside from the otaku sphere. it may have beautiful landscapes and peaceful villages but the jobs these girls do are not near those xD

I relate with her so hard. Got a job offer abroad, slightly better pay and career stability, which I considered with a great interest for a while, but the thoughts of having much fewer times to spend with my family gave me cold feet at the last minute.
At the same time, I don't think you're missing out on much if you were to make it 3-6 months. Long enough to get a feel for the country, short enough that you won't miss much. Especially if you wait until after Christmas, where there is 6 months that not a lot of holidays happen.
I respect Kronii's stance. I wish I felt the same about my family. Well...my *extended* family at the very least. My immediate unit and my close friends (who're practically extra siblings) are the only people I care about. I'd never want to spend too much time away from them.
It sounds really relatable for me. Lots of people don't want to leave their families behind even if they really want to move somewhere, even to another country. So yeah, for me Kronii's reasons are completely understandable. Except for me it's absolutely impossible to go somewhere away from my home city even for a day, because I have to care to my mother, who is partially paralyzed after a stroke. And yet, the family should never be a burden for something that can be achieved. If there are some possibilities of achieving something new without leaving the family behind, I think it's worth trying. Also... the HoloHouse BGM from HoloCure. I don't know, day after day that music becomes for me more and more tearjerking. Maybe it's because of the sadness I feel seeing these cute little sprites of graduated Holomems spontaneously running nearby as well as sprites of active Holomems. And knowing that there will be more of such sprites that are became only reflections of former Holomems is making me sad even more... On the other hand, any other HoloCure music doesn't make me feel this way, and I don't know why.
