Speaking of the straight line speed - i have noticed (watching yours and Ryan’s in-kart vids) that, on the tracks where there is one long straight, rather than gear for that straight, your mechanics go ahead and gear for the tight stuff (so you get plenty of acceleration) - which means you run out of gear on the long straight - so they fatten up the high jet a bit so when the engine revs tap out, it survives the race. Doesn’t sound like this engine reaches even 16k, if I had to guess. Good strategy and it surely helps you with those tight passes. Good job!
@@chungostevens7905 It’s the gearing, the lower the gear, the more top end you have, if you look in the tight corners I have less bottom end acceleration than them but I have more on the straights.
The driver I overtook came up to me after the race and told me sorry because I was on the inside and he came down on me. It was 50/50 but he was not upset at me.
