Amazing setup ! I have the ECM Classika PID and it’s annoying to wait like 3 to 5 min to be able to steam milk after making the espresso. It’s really not convenient also when I have guests at home. So with this new ECM Max do I need to wait between brewing and steaming ? If so how long ? Thanks for the help
Hi ı have thıs machıne.I using btc2 mode.When start espresso if you press left buton 2time its be ready 1.5 bar when finish espresso.and if you want make steam same tıme work.Machine is very fast.

@@marcusjn74 I am working in BTC mode.in this mode the machine is measuring and controlling the temperature right next to the group head.which means the boiler pressure is pretty low somewhere at 0.9.before steaming. I am activating the boiler to reach the maximum pressure of 1.5.it takes around 10 seconds. In this way, I’m getting consistence results with the espresso shot and afterwards with the steaming.

It is a very good choice.it is basically a smart heat exchange machine.the option to work in BTC mode is a huge benefit. I would highly recommend it.

What is the guard around the group head?
Just a guard. It made of wood easy install. Keep me from hitting the head with the filter handle
