HER CAREER
Aishwarya Rai was born in Mangalore, India. She burst upon the world stage when she won the Miss World crown in 1994. An architecture student, Ash (as she is known) became one of India's most famous models, landing a prestigious Pepsi campaign and appearing in Vogue magazine.
India's top Bollywood directors were soon lining up to work with Aishwarya. Her film debut in Mani Rathnam's 'Iruvar' (1997) received critical acclaim, and her performance in Rahul Rawail's 'Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya' (1997) garnered her a Best Female Debutante Award. In 2000 she was awarded best actress by Filmfare and Zee Cine for her work in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' (Straight from the Heart); in that same year, Ash was also nominated for best supporting actress for her special appearance in Aditya Chopra's 'Mohabbatein'. In 2001, she was again honored by Filmfare when she was nominated for a best actress award for Satish Kaushik's 'Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai'.
Ash's star continued to rise in 2002 when she worked again with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 'Devdas', the most ambitious and successful film in Bollywood history - and the first to receive a special screening at the Cannes Film Festival. It broke box-office records in India and the United States.
Aishwarya was listed on Rolling Stone magazine's annual 'Hot List', HELLO! magazine's 'Most Attractive Women in the World' list, and featured in Stuff, FHM, V Life, GQ, The New York Times Magazine, and countless others. She is the first Indian woman immortalised in wax at the world famous Madame Tussauds museum in London.

She's worn brown contacts for some film roles and has looked every bit as gorgeous as she usually does. The eye color is striking yes, but isn't her only feature. Green eyes aren't that uncommon in India, people aren't that fascinated by it, lol.

Lol her real eye colour is more towards light-ish brown but not Green nor even blue! I have a friend who went to the same school as her in younger years so we know what it truly is.
India’s eye colour is usually black/darkest brown so obviously they fascinated by light skin, light eyes etc. Any dark skinned country is. Light eyes are no way common there. Looks play a great deal for getting into movies too. Even Aishwarya’s natural eye colour is on the brownish side and she mainly wears coloured contacts

Where did this mascara disappear? They discontinued selling it 2 years ago, but it is by far THE BEST mascara I've ever had. I used to get SO many compliments, when I used this. It is just as it looks on Aishwarya Rai! Ahhhh-mazing!!! I wish I could buy or oder it again from somewhere but it seems as if it disappeared from the face of the Earth. x

Look,the point isn't even about her hair it's about her EYES.But,the scientific reason for her having black hair is because when there has been no contact with sunlight the hair appears to grow out darker and thicker because it hasn't had much contact with sunlight or the wear and tear that full grown hair goes through.But,in her first modeling pictures from 9th grade(I can show them to you)she had brown hair.Both both stages of the hair are"natural"but when exposed,her hair is brown NATURALLY.
