Makes me want to know more about the ultimate coordinator project.

Supposedly, the gold parts were gonna be the Dragoons (you can see them drawn as detatchable in the official arts). However, because the development was rushed, the backpack full potential hasn't been reached. This makes one wonder if the Dragoons were to be detachable, would there be a similar wings of light effect from those propellers like the base Strike Freedom. It's interesting that the Dragoon barrier we saw Kira used in the movie was supposedly part of the original Strike Freedom but it was cut out from the series, then it was brought back as an upgrade for the Spec II in this movie. If there is a sequel to this movie in any way, perhaps we could see the Dragoons from the Mighty SF as well

It’s still nuclear powered except they changed the reactor from a fission reactor to a fusion reactor. Throughout the battle you can see the coolant levels dropping meaning the Freedom was pushed to the absolute limit and overheated to the point of a forced shutdown

U can argue that the severe use of phase shift and beam shields ended up draining the reactor really quickly and iirc the Destiny also once ran really low on power too. Tho its more likely just a cheap way to create suspense lol
It's still nuclear, the SF type II just exceeds the heat limit of it's power source and the impact limit of it's VPS, so it was forced to shut down It was cooled down when the Proud Defender was mounted, allowing him to activate the VPS once again

And here Kira pushes all of SFs engines to the limit, making the nuclear engine unable to recharge as fast as Kira is using it, hence the powering down due to overheating

Rey Za Burrel who kinda just took on the mantle of Rau but realized at the last moment that hes himself not anyone else. Orphee for the fact that originally he and Lacus were "engineered" and meant to be together ruling over the world and Kira just happened to be the one that "stole" her away.
Orphee's case was a bit weird cause if we look back to the past, Lacus was actually bethroned to Athrun so some of the hate should have been directed towards him instead of totally Kira.

SF from destiny was stolen by a carrier pilot, used in his rebellion/terrorist act and thus it was destroyed. SF Type II was recreated from the remains of SF.

@@pikachuprob it's actually nuclear powered. The problem is that Kira overused his gundam in that fight. He was overcharging his gundam to the point that it could not replenish it's energy on time. This, why we see the the battery low. It's a plot device although it doesn't really make sense since such a thing should not be normally possible. Nuclear power can supply cities with electricity in real life so it should not have been possible for a gundam to be low in energy. But apparently in GSD and GSF, it's possible. There are many things that don't make sense in this story but you gotta accept it because it's shown as such in the show.

The villain is much worse than the previous series. Too much cringe doesn't compare to rau le cruset and ray za burrel

That's because the creatives of the movie saw the criticism of how Kira was way too overpowered in SEED and SEED Destiny.
@@GrandAdmiralBatuKhanfunny thing is he never was! In SEED he was getting manhandled by the 3 druggies, Rau, and dead even with Athrun. It was only in Destiny where he was OP. He only lost to Shinn.
However even in this scene they don’t depict him as weakened. He’s up against an entire fleet of ships, and 2 mobile suits about 90% immune to SF and more advanced. A crazy 2vs1!!! If anything the creators are gassing Kira up! They are saying this is what it takes to beat SF and the ultimate coordinator. 😂😂😂
forget about Shinn in this movie, even the most deeply introverted, self deprecating romcom protagonists of your typical light novel to anime adaptations I've encountered across had seen happier moments of their lives compared to Kira on this movie

this scene is the only one that never made sense to me the rising freedom getting overwelmed and running out of power i get it didnt have a nuclear reactor the strike freedom should have infinite energy since its nuclear powered not battery powered
U can argue that the severe use of phase shift and beam shields ended up draining the reactor really quickly and iirc the Destiny also once ran really low on power too.
Tho its more likely just a cheap way to create suspense lol

It's still nuclear, the SF type II just exceeds the heat limit of it's power source and the impact limit of it's VPS, so it was forced to shut down
It was cooled down when the Proud Defender was mounted, allowing him to activate the VPS once again
@@lancekidder9011 The nuclear engines aren't infinite power sources. They recharge themselves infinitely, yes, but they still need time to recoup what energy is used. And here Kira pushes all of SFs engines to the limit, making the nuclear engine unable to recharge as fast as Kira is using it, hence the powering down due to overheating

@@Phantom19913 If you think about it, all the antagonists have beef with Kira. Rau Le Creseut who thought Kira's existence as the "perfect" Coordinator to be a absurdity. Rey Za Burrel who kinda just took on the mantle of Rau but realized at the last moment that hes himself not anyone else. Orphee for the fact that originally he and Lacus were "engineered" and meant to be together ruling over the world and Kira just happened to be the one that "stole" her away.
Orphee's case was a bit weird cause if we look back to the past, Lacus was actually bethroned to Athrun so some of the hate should have been directed towards him instead of totally Kira.

Also atp kira was a criminal who broke like 50 dif treaties, why not use the actual strike freedom vs this? This one is more upgraded but the OG strike freedom thats nuclear powered would do much better in this scenario (assuming it is still a thing).
Edit: Turns out it "overheated." and the nuclear reactor didn't make enough energy. I call bullshit. Kira has spammed so much more in Destiny and hell the OG Freedom has spammed more than this and turned out fine.
SF from destiny was stolen by a carrier pilot, used in his rebellion/terrorist act and thus it was destroyed. SF Type II was recreated from the remains of SF.

@@pikachuprob it's actually nuclear powered. The problem is that Kira overused his gundam in that fight. He was overcharging his gundam to the point that it could not replenish it's energy on time. This, why we see the the battery low.
It's a plot device although it doesn't really make sense since such a thing should not be normally possible. Nuclear power can supply cities with electricity in real life so it should not have been possible for a gundam to be low in energy. But apparently in GSD and GSF, it's possible. There are many things that don't make sense in this story but you gotta accept it because it's shown as such in the show.

1. We have seen this mf spam so much more in Destiny in ANY of his appearances which last like 5 minutes each
2. Yeah 100% plot device for new strike freedom for them to sell us more overpriced plastic (I will still buy it)
@@pikachuprob Destiny's plot is a mess. Fukuda has always written plots that somehow contradicts itself. Plus, there are tons of plot holes. We can only assume that as an outdated mobile suit, that was repaired quickly after SF got destroyed, it cannot compare to the newest gundams.
