Today I'm sharing more tips and advice about living in Kuwait as an expat. You guys know that I was living in Kuwait for a while and the most frequent question I get asked about expat life in Kuwait is: what can I wear in Kuwait? There's a lot of conflicting information out there so hopefully this video will shed some light on what you can wear in Kuwait. Remember, I CAN ONLY SPEAK FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE! I lived in Kuwait for 10 months and these views are based on how I lived, what I saw and what I experienced.

Also it's good to carry that scarf for those malls where they crank the AC to max 😂😂
I think its important to respect the local culture, just because you technically can wear revealing clothes I don't think you should. There are plenty of options, I usually get my clothes from boohoo as well, Monki is great and AliExpress too. Great tips you have. Just wish more people would be mindful of the culture and not wear booty shorts. It's really not that hard.
One thing you didn't mention that I want to add is material choices. Viscose is my favorite, it's loose and flows nice. I can't wear jeans or anything silk. Silk just clings to the body in the heat and humidity. Cotton breathes a bit but sometimes it's so thick.
Also it's important to add that there are seasons. It's better to bring a sweater if you are out at night in "winter". At least Dubai can get a bit windy and borderline cold. Especially in the desert.
Havn't been to Kuwait or Bahrain yet but it's on my list!

@@berthashea5579 Yes, that would be my recommendation. Flowy wide viscose, polyester, cotton or linen trousers (pants) would be much better. SHEIN is a very good online shop to find such items!

46. That’s wrong, that’s against the law , the girls and boys must cover their legs in all governmental places + schools + mosques + beaches for girls
You can't wear anything you like. And also you don't need to cover up totally like in Saudi so Bikins are not allowed so are shorts for women are a no no.

You can wear whatever you want, depending on where do you live in Kuwait lol .. in Salmiya you can sure wear whatever you want, but since you lived in Khaitan haha I think you need to be little conservative.
In Dubai women wear shorts and its generally ok!
It's the same in the area of Bahrain that I live in now. It really just depends on the area you visit. In Dubai I wore shorts and nobody cared.

I’m am from Kuwait 🇰🇼 don’t worry if you don’t believe me I’m from Kuwait I want every one to tell me something in English and I will say it in Arabic and this whole thing your saying to not where you can where but I’m a Muslims so boys can’t see me where shorts and stuff like that but they respect and if you have a friend in Kuwait she will pay for every thing and she will not allow you to pay

Imagine going on holiday to relax and having to stress about what to eat drink and wear. As if we women don’t have enough to worry about. Changed my mind about going to any Middle Eastern country.

The houses are nice , but some areas like mahboula n khaitan aren't that nice, I recommend moving to somewhere like abuhalifa, ahmadi, egaila, or Kuwait city .
The weather here is nice , tho it gets rlly hot in midsummer

Food is delicious, u gotta try hummus, kabsa, n many more
