it depends on how the relay is wired... you can use it as a stand alone if the power is wired constant to the relay...we don't recommend this as it will create a constant draw and be hard on your electronics.. Think about leaving your TV on all if the time... It's probably not the best for it... The same applies here.. If it is wired through a switch the switch would need to be in the on Position for bluetooth functionality.
