  • Welcome to Jason Does Things!
Here we go folks, it's time for a garbage haul! This video was inspired by ‪@MontereyMagnetMan‬ from when he sorted out his finds cart. I've slowly been acquiring pounds of beach trash and since the bucket was beginning to overflow, I figured it was time to offload.
Keep in mind, this bucket is the culmination of about nine months of metal detecting... most of this was pulled off the beaches in and around San Diego.
I think what's fascinating as I sift through all this is the variety of unique targets... and the realization that aside from the larger pieces, there are literally thousands of teeny tiny bits of scrap metal, from can-slaw to gum wrappers.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this process, and until next time, Happy Hunting!

I saw the effort you needed to lift the bucket Vs. how much for (older) me to lift my 50 lb Honda generator and guessed 40 lbs. Woo Hoo! Close! // Beach karma, exercise, cleaner beaches, win-win for all. 😃

@jasondoesthings yep you can sell it for dirty iron. I would try to separate the aluminum and Brass cuz you get more for that stuff.
