That double lamp you threw into the steel pile at 29:06 is aluminum! Next time just hammer the porcelain off and you’ll have clean aluminum sheet. I know those lamps by heart lol they’re used for heating and UVB for reptiles, plants etc I I always scrap any of mine that die on me.
Hello Charles! You’re finding a lot of Maytag washers because they’re no good any more. They have plastic parts and they don’t last. You can use a small sledge hammer to get the parts off of the water heaters. Great job!
Can you imagine if there were no scrappers in the U.S. ? Our landfills would be pushed to the limit with all the stuff we throw away, at least with people scrapping a portion of it is recycled, I do pop and beer cans by the thousands here in Ohio every month myself, I don't mess with iron because I don't have a truck

I never remove anything from the scrap because the scrap yards around here will take as is and it adds to the load which means more money
