Helter Skelter is for the ones who say The Beatles was just a "pop band".
There is metal, blues rock, grunge in this list….
I miss " Child in time" and "Long live Rock'n'Roll "
Yesss Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll!!! Rainbow is criminally underrated
Rainbow is definately not criminally underrated. The band is valued all over the world wide web.
one of deep purples best songs
"No Stairway! Denied!"
I agree with some of the comments here, Led Zeppelin’s whole lotta love should’ve been #1.
Nah man Hendrix was a genius even if Led Zeppelin is a top 3 band with The Beatles and Stones
Wasn’t expecting Jimmy Hendrix at number one, I thought it was gonna be Another Van Halen song or AC⚡️DC
Love that Helter Skelter is here
The list is fine overall but I think you're mixing up genres. Like Judas Priest and Black Sabbath aren't Hard Rock.
the songs are tho
@@Chad_129 war pigs and paranoid aren't exactly hard rock since they are the songs that started heavy metal as a whole. First album of Sabbath is considered the first metal album
@@ivangabela7290 i see
They are heavy metal. A heavier version of hard rock! 😂
@@ivangabela7290 I argue Priest started metal and Black Sabbath was just a grimier and darker hard rock but not fully metal yet
idk about jimi hendrix at first it should been ac dc or led zeppelin in my opinion
That's why I don't love music by genre, this lists is mixed by a lot of genres not just the hard rock. Btw it still good and we all already know those famous songs. keep on rocking guys
Buddy, these aren't all hard rock. Some are metal, some are grunge/punk...
Still good songs
And nu metal
Still count
thank you for saving my time. grunge, punk and metal aren't my taste. I'm gonna go find a somewhat accurate list
@@partyxplays no worries😂
Respect for putting Tom Sawyer on the list
I respect him I host don’t really like his voice
I don't think tom sawyer is hard rock
@@thalesmendeslima1552it’s one of my favorite songs ever but definitely not hard rock
"Crossroads" is Cream cover of a Robert Johnson song, and "Knocking on Heaven's Door" is Guns and Roses cover of a Bob Dylan song.
Yeah but they covered them great, so they deserve a spot on this list
Two Bob Dylan songs in this list (one at #1)... Hard rock but by a Nobel Prize
in what world are linkin park and alice in chains hard rock?
zz
Cream and Jimi Hendrix too
What bands are hard rock then?
Since you put Alice in Chains on your list, which is a grunge band, then Nirvana should be on the list also.
No. Alice in chains is much better than nirvana, and also alice in chains is still grunge, but closer to heavy metal / hard rock than nirvana
@@robowizard6132 Yea but some of these bands aren’t even hard rock. You’re opinion is very wrong but i respect it because nirvana takes the cake over alice in chains big time
@@metalholio11 nirvana better than alice in chains? sure, that's your opinion. not sure that music fans would agree though lol
@@robowizard6132 Who cares what “music fans” think i’m a music fan too so don’t pull no shitty cards. I’ll say what i want anyone who hates it can suck it
@@robowizard6132 nirvana is much better than alice in chains. so are soundgarden and stone temple pilots.
Stairway to Heaven?
My Top 10
10.AC/DC "Thunderstruck"
9. Kiss "Detroit Rock City" (album version)
8. Guns&Roses "Welcome To The Jungle"
7. Aerosmith "Lightning Strikes"
6. Meatloaf "Paradise By The Dashboard Light"
5. Rush "Tom Sawyer"
4. Black Sabbath "Iron Man"
3. Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody"
2. Led Zeppelin "Kashmir"
1. The Who "Won't Get Fooled Again"
Songs that actually aren't hard rock:
Bulls on parade
In the end
Seven nation army is doubtful
Killing in the name
More than a feeling?
Carry on my wayward son
Tom Sawyer is doubtful
Crazy Train
Iron Man
Paroind
War Pigs
Breaking the Law
Rooster is grunge
@@silentrevolver4600 I'm not sure about the whole "grunge" label. Especially with Alice in Chains.
@@nilshzdk5250 I'm not sure about War pigs
@@nilshzdk5250 these are hard rock and heavy metal at the same time
No need to argue about genres. The term "hard rock" is just a superordinate concept. It draws the line between RnR, Beat and RnB on one side and harder or heavier music on the other. 70's and early 80's AC/DC and Whitesnake for example were pretty much Blues Bands - but clearly qualified as Hard Rock..
Mad respect for including Rush. Having said that, half of this playlist is metal, blues rock, or grunge/alt
Nice
Good list, but I think Grand Funk Railroad is a mention worth at least.
Zombie by The Cranberries should be there
"Kashmir" should be here!!!
4:03 clearly you didn’t watch the videi
My favorite bands is black sabbath and deep purple and my favorite guitarists is Jimi Hendrix and Tony iommi and Ritchie Blackmore my name is latrell .
Most of the Songs aren't even hard Rock songs
Jimi Hendrix ahead of Led Zeppelin or AC/DC is unacceptable.
Jimi Hendrix was actually great. Best guitar player ever. Songs like “Purple Haze” has a great opening and is such a great song but it can’t beat Led Zeppelin’s classic “Stairway To Heaven”
Hendrix ahead of AC/DC if very acceptable. We can talk about Hendrix being ahead of zeppelin though
@@Bird6755 though i wouldn’t put hendrix over ac/dc when it comes to hard rock
@@Bird6755 Hendrix was much more talented than AC/DC, but they have a TON of iconic songs. Hendrix has like three, and one of them is a cover.
@@moncalimarimoncalimari8964 3 iconic songs. That doesn’t mean all of his albums weren’t bangers.
You should’ve put The Kinks version of “You Really Got Me”
Young Lust and The Nile Song by Pink Floyd
Rage against the machine and Linkin Park are nu metal
There are "Welcome to the jungle" and "Paradise city" but where are these two masterpieces: "November rain" and "Don't cry"
✌👌
Smoke on the Water should be top 5 or higher
And they should be a bit more tunes from them here beside Smoke and Highway Star
alright, so acdc, gnr, van halen and black Sabbath. heard.
No walk this way or sweet emotion?
Proto heavy metal
Voodoo Child??
Tom Sawyer is not hard rock at all, its progressive rock. But there are rush hard rock songs that can count from thier earlier records like anthem, working man, bastille day, etc.
Grunge... Blues Rock as well?
You're a fan of Van Halen right?
Correction "top 50 most popular hard rock songs"
Popularity doesn't mean that they are better. May as well just call these songs pop rock songs
No Pink Floyd? Come on bro.
Pink Floyd have like two hard rock songs and neither of them are legendary
Pink Floyd have parts of songs that sound like hard rock but they don't have hard rock songs.
Pink Floyd is more Prog Rock than Hard Rock, but also they have some hard rock songs
Where is achillies last stand?!
1位をカバー曲にするのは如何なものか
Why isn’t Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin not number one??
That’s more of a folk ballad thing then hard rock
At least that’s what I heard
Idk I’d suggest looking it up
Black dog
Really? Can’t believe young lust, run like hell, and sheep didn’t make the list.
Sweet child o mine deserves #1
Lmao no
Bruh where is the Metallica
Metallica is a band of trash metal, not hard rock
Not a fan of the list but my biggest gripe is Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door is one of G N’ R’s most overrated songs.
Its not their song
@@houston1964 Yes, Cpt Obvious, but they covered it, and it sucks
They did indeed cover the Bob Dylan version and turned it into a heavy metal song. The Bob Dylan version is a classic rock ballad and it’s one of his greatest.
Green day, black keys nirvana foo fighters jet U2 and etc??
Terrible listing
WHERE’S THUNDERSTRUCK???????
1:39
Nije loša lista
w..t..f..?😂😂
Free bird hard rock? Uh, no.
Tom Sawyer sounds like a girl
This is not a good list
The 1960s, 1990s, and 2000s are my favorite decades for rock music. I like some 1970s music, especially Led Zeppelin. I love that band. I ain’t a fan of 1980s music at all.
Led Zeppelin are my favorite band
The 80s is my favorite decade for music, 2nd would be the 90s, 3rd is the 70s, and 4th is the 60s (although The Beatles is the greatest band ever). 5th place would have to go to the latter half of the 50s, while the year 2000 is the only one that I enjoyed in the 21st century, and the medium became completely unlistenable to me by 2005. Glad that current shows like Stranger Things are still teaching the younger generations to rock.
that was the worst list u have ever made
