Wow, bang on information. When I trained abmvt in LA, my coach was also trained in JKD methods, he said after basic VT skill sets are learned you can turbo boost your attributes of timing and perception by playing with the sticks and stick fighting drills, and that knife fighting drills and sparring is just used to bring ultra accuracy to your moves, it tightens everything up, great sharing Adam:)
Another great video. Thank you and best wishes.
Very cool! Thank you so much for this, definitely going to try this out.
Always a great explanation and inspiration to training methods !!! Thank you 🙏🏻
Nice drill, speed and flow!, greetings from Chile.
Really cool lesson
Your speed is crazy wow
have to say not a fan of wing chun per se, but definitely find your video here interesting. I do actually do something similar in my sparring to deal with the same issue of timing and find that I am able to deal with random attacks, better from a dynamic position. Although I don't have to throw punches, it could just be motioning the shoulders, but the rhythm is still there.
Always great!
Brilliant!
man your awesome!!! you got a new subscribers.
your right dude thats true.👍💪👊
Really cool sifu!!!
nice video loved that
Man if I was in Vancouver you would be my trainer
I don't have a problem with any of this - Adam is clearly a skilled martial artist who knows what he's talking about - but I still think we give ourselves far too much (unobstructed) room in training. One of the criticisms I see repeatedly of Wing Chun is that 'it only works if you're fighting in a phone booth !' - whatever the truth of that, take a good look around the next bar you walk into. Tables, chairs, pool tables, even the bar itself - often with corners that seem purpose-built to do damage to the human body. Outside is often just as bad - fire hydrants, poles, broken guttering, cars and bikes parked hard up against the sidewalk - the list goes on. I realise Adam is illustrating a point in many of his vids - I'm just pointing out something that is common across many martial arts vids. Thanks.
I like to play!
Wow
I noticed that you used what looked like kali sticks to improve your wing chun, did you take kali? If so did you find that it improved your fighting skills a lot? I have taken wing chun for 4 yrs and in addition I have been training Muay thai for like 6 months and a little kick boxing at the muay thai gym. Would you advise taking Kali now too? can you take too many arts at once? I have some time right now to train a lot so I was considering training all of these for the next 2 months then backing down to wing chun and one other. any advice?
Yes i studied it and a few others detail description in this episode ruclips.net/video/-VH423TMZH4/видео.html
