That’s cool your Tai Chi teacher explained to you that concept. It made me think of what we do with cloudy hands.

It is a new hobby of mine to become a mentalist/magician. I see concepts overlapping.. Let the opponent think he's in control and redirect him... Be flexible and work with what you got..

Hehe - you are quoting Jesse Glover so much in that example !
"I didn't want to hit you that way... you MADE me nit you that way" XD
That example has been stuck in my system since

Economizing your structure. Using their force against them. Refining your hits so that they are more direct. If I didn’t know any better I would think that Sifu Adam was Bruce Lee’s long lost cousin. Congaratulatiins Sifu glad to see the patron contributions paying off.

The guys at Windy City talk about this as "not sticking to him; making him stick to you."

I think systema has the most B's of any martial art ... But people say that about wing Chun and sometimes they are right sometimes they are wrong it depends.
Do you use those floppy punches is it movement based is it more karate or krav or what?
If you use those floppy punches man you should try Wing Chun.
There's more structure and you can hit really hard with a whip punch Wing Chun style or chop ... Or if you use them you can try your power from your body and you always should know where that is ... Yet wing Chun can be more direct and relaxed crashing more like water.
Wing Chun is an entity of itself ... But it's really part of Shaolin.
My early fighting style improves ... And needs improvement ...but wing Chun makes more sense the more you know around it like Shaolin my early style was Shaolin and Street with boxing and I added Wing Chun which is Shaolin. A type.
But it's really interesting I think a systema guy would like it a lot.
I've seen good systema ... I've seen really bad systema ...
I don't fully understand. I know you understand it.
You don't have to be all noodley. I think.
You can whip any kind of punch for extra damage if you want.
But Wing Chun punches work well for it.
Wing Chun is very range reliant so it's really good on the street but it is not so good on opponents who travel like in UFC.
      You can mix it though.
In my opinion it's made to be used with Shaolin as Shaolin ... But whether you mix other things up to you.
I did street boxing and Shaolin with some jkd, then later added Wing Chun which isn't adding it's Shaolin.
That's striking for me. I really like all kung fu a lot.
My grappling is very mottled and balanced too.
Watch you are probably totally different.
School me in what y'all do.
I really don't always know it can go so many directions.
I believe in like every martial art ... But I have very little Understanding it faith in systema and that could be my biggest weakness ... You never know that's very possible.
Ones that I know the least about systema ... Escrima.
      Yeah.
But there are similarities I like the commonalities too.
Not to offend you. I must not understand the good systema, I assume.

@@davisbarr9112 If you train a system for about a half year period you can get a grip on what the system focuses on and where in application it does well. Consider training as a method to grasp something better. If you and i assume we talk a lot... friendly testing (sparring between friends) is the best way i know.
      Consider breathing awareness exercises
In the end material arts should be about life and creating a better place *peace*

@@leonvitovincentradwe1543 Agreed that martial arts are not only for UFC not only for real combat ... But I like to use mine both for the martial ability just in case ...
As well as the art form. It doesn't get a lot of attention anymore but there is actual art in martial arts ... Well ... Their roots. Thai has some. Kung fu has a lot. Karate has some.
It's ok to call it an art form.
As far as peace ... Ok.
I like defense and peace by strength.
But Jesus is said to cause the lion to have peace with the lamb after the days we are in.
The Armageddon. Well ... That's good.
      Peace then!
