FYI, I have the Cruzbike V20 and S40 and I replaced both seats with Thor seats. They're just more comfortable. I just purchased a Q45 frame and plan to build it up. I will add a Thor seat to it also. The seat back is adjustable for angles, but it's still too high for me so I will modify it by turning the seat tube 180 deg, which will bring the seat down much lower, preventing recumbutt. It will require adding a headrest. I'm also replacing the spring shock with a better Kindshock A5 RR-1. The component group will be SRAM Eagle AXS electronic, wireless shifting, 10x52 freewheel and 40 tooth chainring. The wheels, Velocity Cliffhanger tubeless with Schwalbe 2" x 26" Mondale tires. I'm also swapping the handlebars with S40 equivalent bars. I'm doing all this to use it as a world touring bike.
It's kind of discouraging to pay so much for the stock bike and find that you need to start changing things that cost even more cash. Really makes me pause on purchasing one.
nice report
Thanks for the video. How do you transport it
on your vehicle?
There is a learning curve. I have the 26" 2012 model. I'm using a 12 speed 32X11-50. Off road anything is kinda lackluster. It's a road recumbent.
I'm thinking of getting a q45. Did you not like the original seat? If not, why?

Is the screaming in the background from jealous upright bike riders? ;-)
