Danny, excellent video... I posted in the CB Forum that they should use this on their front page for new interested customers to view. Please make more videos like this for CB!
Thanks man !! Much appreciated. I plan on doing a bunch of videos as I modify and set the bike up , get back in shape , and plan sone trips. Thanks again
@@dannythompsonadventures, I am a CB fan... I owned a QX100 (precursor to your bike and sold to a neighbor), and a 2014 Silvio 2.0 (which now resides in Larry Ozlund's CB Museum). I currently own a 2022 V20c Red SRAM Force AXS 2X12, 2021 S40 Marine-Matte Finish, and a 2020 V20 Citron/Shale.
Good summary of the the Q45. This looks like a very comfortable bike and I love the suspension. It is nice to be able to be so upright. I currently ride a V20 which is about as flat as possible without running into vision and gastric issues.
Thanks for watching. If I hadn’t gotten such a deal on this model I think I would have gotten their s40 standard road bike model. I think I could still outfit that with bags etc. I don’t really need the rear suspension etc. best of luck. The company does have great customer service !
@@dannythompsonadventures That's the 2 models I'm debating between. I live down 1/2 mile of gravel track before I can get onto the road and the roads around here aren't in the best state in places, so was leaning towards the Q45. It shouldn't factor into the equation, but I like that yellow as well haha!
@@thepandaman I had a similar good deal that got me into a Q45 even though the S40 was my choice. The only thing I found is that the Q45 is a bit heavy and I cannot keep up with my old riding friends on their 18-20 lb carbon bikes. That said it is fun to ride and learning a new skill at 73 is a gas. I ended up buying a V20 for fast rides and just got it set up, it'll be on the trainer till spring when X-country skiing ends.
@@bobhauser3833 My road bike until quite recently was actually a touring bike, a Trek 520. The one before that was more of a race bike, so found the drop in speed quite significant and disappointing until I changed the tyres on the Trek back to something with lower rolling resistance. That's my possible plan with the Q45 - accept the weight penalty in the frame, but treat it to a lightweight wheelset and GP5000s (once the bike saving account has recovered!), so at least it rolls well on the flat. The adjustable back rest appeals as well. Sounds like some don't get on with the S40 angle, although plenty do. Thanks for your response though, I'll be mulling it over for a while yet. Hope you have fun on the V20!
@@thepandaman I did try 650B Panaracer slicks and lighter Hunt gravel wheels on the Q45 and it was faster. Unfortunately, the tires were very flat prone with the casing breaking. There are few fast slick tires choices for 650b so I think the idea of 700 with wide tires is a great idea. It will be faster. I have a set of mild Knobby tires on the old rims for trails. I went to 12 speed to get 10-50 gear range and use the 50 on steeper hills. Needed new hub to get the 10 but 11-50 will fit on stock one.

Thanks for watching. I have the seat about as far back and flat now as possible. Finding a good in between
Really good video! I have had similar experiences to yours. For the past few weeks, I've been riding a Cruzbike S40. Best wishes from Poland!
Thanks !! Have a great one
Super cool bike, I need to get something to ride outside next spring
You should!
Thanks for the review! I've been eyeing up the various Cruzbikes but haven't decided which model.
