Wow man that's a really nice comment thanks so so much! I appreciate it more then ya know! Just keep on surfing, like with most things consistency is key. Find a nice long point break and some good swell and you'll be getting some minute long + rides too before ya know it! Have a good one!
@@henfish7108 haha for sure man! I’ve definitely gotten some really long rides before at Leo Carillo or Malibu 1st point but this was just on a different level. Keep ripping!
Hey how tall are you and how much do you weigh? I’m thinking about getting a 6’10 twin pin that’s super similar. Is that board good in small waves too?
Is a twin pin a cool way to ride mini mals, because I sometimes I wanna ride my mini mal out at the point purely to catch waves earlier, but they won't allow it, but cool guy twin pins seem to be sneaking in. I'm confident they'll be put on the "no" list soon though. Honestly, I think I need mini mal for the paddle after 1.5 minute waves.
Ultimately just ride what ever board is going to allow you to catch the most waves and have the most fun actually riding that wave. A lot of people get boards that look "cool" and then spend most of their sessions bobbing around in everyones way and not catching anything. FOAM IS YOUR FRIEND! thanks for watching dude!
@@henfish7108 wow, you live somewhere with a different surf culture to where I live. “They” being the white ageing misogynists, simply will not stand for such a craft given their mildest of take off advantage. Are there spots like this where you live? Can you take a twin pin out on a 4 foot day at trestles and dominate the peak? Is trestles in fact full of twin pins trimming down the line?
Hey, curious because the gopro footage always makes waves seem a lot smaller than they really are, but what is 6-8ft to you, a 2-2.5metre face? I always get confused with Surfers 🦶
the largest sets were double overhead. so twice the height of a 5-6 foot surfer when hes at the bottom of the wave if that makes sense. thanks for watching!
@@henfish7108 See that’s a swell between 3 and 4Metres… 3 feet = 1m, In a measured foot that’s a 9-12 foot face. So confusing. Scientifically ocean waves should be measured crest to trough. Highest point to lowest. In my experience a Surfer’s foot is almost 2/3 larger than a measured foot. For those who understand the metric system, like 50cm rather than 30cm. 🤯
@@rahawk69 Totally man! it was big for sure. Super view really does take away from the size perception, but I find it is the best video option amongst them.
hey man thanks so much!! The Waves were 6-8 all day long with every other set coming in at 10 foot. Using a "superview lens" is an extremely wide angle which in return can sometimes distorts the size of the wave. Anyhow it was the best I've ever seen the point in my whole life and an absolute blast! Thanks for watching brotha!!!
Nice video but as if it’s not already kook crowded at C st. With southers you post an advertisement. Please stay at county line or south of it. You souther kooks have ruined Ventura county surf spots.
I think every wave you caught in this video would've been the wave of my life

@@henfish7108 So yea anyway long story short. For me that’s massive! The wide angle lens makes it look half the actual size.

awesome wave! wasn’t 6-8 though
