I'm trying to figure out this strumming pattern, any tips, is it just basic Ska stum mute down, ring on the up, 18 notes ?

Yeah, I know, I've been there as well, trying to master it and figure it out. Drove me crazy.. Tim uses this rythm a lot. It's more like a groove than rythm. It's basic SKA strumming pattern, but the key is in your left hand, where you press and release (mute) the strings in that groove. If you make it in the right speed, it will work! Hope this helps!
