This takes me back to the days when growing up in the UK. The songwriters were clever in the way they addressed social, racial, and political ills to music written most often in a major key. Beyond the music of the 1950's and 1960's, it was a defining moment in the mid-70's and beyond for western music. This "ska" music noted the amalgam of reggae and energy of punk rock at an important time of social unrest in the 20th century. No one can forget such bands as The Specials, Bad Manners, and The Selecter (Two-Tone), etc. Even the Police in the early days were listed as "ska punk." One seldom forgets moments of originality.
I remember buying "...And out come the wolves" and putting it on for the first time, hearing that sick ass BASS solo on "Maxwell Murder" and thinking "I ain't never heard nothing like that!!" and I'm still listening to Rancid and loving them!!

***** Word to the wise: Just because a person uses a picture of a young girl as the avatar for their RUclips account does not necessarily mean that the person in question is, in fact, a young female. Consider also that this particular individual has chosen the name "Phil Mahooters", as in "feel my hooters". Now, I'm not saying this person is definitely a dude, but I _am_ saying that's definitely something a dude would do. Trust no one!!!
I feel like I'm that one weird black guy lol🤣 everyone has their drakes, lil this and lil that playing while I'm jamming to this song with my headphones on beside them🤣 this tune is really catchy !!
Hell fuckin yeah!!! This is one of the very first videos I ever saw growing up from like age 8 years old. God damn it's still one of my favorite rancid songs and it's definitely fuckin punk rawk !!!!!
all the people saying this isn't punk, what are you on about? punk doing what you want and love while not giving a damn about what others think. rancid is that.
Saw them at the legendary Riv in my Chicago for their wolves tour in '96. I was a hormone-drivin, rebellious, son-of-a-bitch, fuck-all 16 year old from the big city. Had a hell of a time in my youth, and that nite is one of my dearest memories. Give'em the Boot !!!!!
The funniest thing about all the 'this isn't punk' arguments is what the band would say about it. Probably, they'd give the punkest of answers and tell us they really don't give a fuck what genre anybody thinks it is, they play what they like.

@SamanthaEvans That made my day. Thank you so much!
I feel so much better about myself after that comment
I think all filmed in west Oakland and other parts of Oakland. BIG EAST BAY LOVE BABY BEEN LISTENIN TO RANCID SINCE A KID, LOVE YOU GUYS!! I’m always expecting back to Olympia to start playing when this song ends, from listenin to And Out Come the Wolves on repeat as a kid so much 😂😂
Isn’t Oakland ghetto
I remember I heard this song for the first time at a blink 182 concert, there was a huge moshpit and my friend got punched in the face. Good times.
I've been on moshpits on reggae-roots shows... life is like that sometimes xD
Koume there's at least one mosh pit in any concert except pop concerts and country.
downvote for blink 182, upvote for moshpit, upvote for getting punched in face. So, total one upvote.
*goes fucking insane at an Ariana Grande concert* FUCK YEAH, ONE LAST PROBLEM XD

I wish I cod walk into a bar and hear this in a boozer in England again 🙏🏻

Maior satisfação assistir esses caras ao vivo no Lolla de 2017.
This needs a trumpet or trombone and you have a ska masterwork.

Right on dude.
Same same...but as a girl. They were my first concert lol!
Ska originated in Jamacia dude. Embrace your blackness 😎
Chicano here, and I bump this at work sometimes and get strange looks. Mean while, I think I heard 1 dude playing taylor swift the other day.....
This way better than today's trap music.
Hell fuckin yeah!!! This is one of the very first videos I ever saw growing up from like age 8 years old. God damn it's still one of my favorite rancid songs and it's definitely fuckin punk rawk !!!!!
Warm regards from Indonesia 2k19 still hearing these song 🤘

Jamming to this at age 44 in 2018. Reminiscing of the past!
Roughly the same age. 'Time Bomb' is one of the great reasons to reminisce!
all the people saying this isn't punk, what are you on about? punk doing what you want and love while not giving a damn about what others think. rancid is that.
You have no idea how pleased my inner kid is with me for finding this
Here in 2021 thinking the same!
Sang in Hep Alien's Gilmore Girls' band.
Great music
I listen to this song and I know how punk and ska have a great combination.
I loved Rancid even before I knew they were Rancid.
Were you drunk when you wrote this? I don't remember
this is my boys song! 7 years old.. This is his stuff!
Amanda Jackson. my son also lobed it
Amanda Jackson good mom

Funnest bassline ever...
Love this song, it's catchy.
This song is literally my childhood-
Just best of memories, chefs kiss
🧑🍳🤌
My father's Ringtone!
I love this song!
I had this on tape straight up rancid still one of the best to ever do it
The funniest thing about all the 'this isn't punk' arguments is what the band would say about it.
Probably, they'd give the punkest of answers and tell us they really don't give a fuck what genre anybody thinks it is, they play what they like.
The best ska song ever 🔥
