I feel God in Skillet's songs. I can't stand gospel music. Gospel music sounds like christian country music. Skillet has helped me so much and got me closer to God
i love skillet because they DONT constantly praise jesus in their music like alot of the christian music out there, but they still manage to send hidden messages that let you know that they are christian. haha best christian group out there. followed by TDWP!
@k91616 dude, his wife is the backup guitar/keyboard player. The drummer is a 20 year old from London that joined the band in 09. Get ur facts straight.
@JesusMusicHead Also Micheal W smith did worship albums but on later albums he had occult symbols and his name written backwards on the cover. The producer for skillet's latest albums also produced for POD who have blatant occutict symbols in many of their songs and album covers.
@pimpcc i understand yr point.have u ever heard their worship album?i've seen them several times & they do pray & play worship songs.i'm going 2 greg laurie's harvest crusade where they'll b playing w/david crowder,steven curtis chapman, kirk franklin...the Spirit will tell u if this is a positive band 4 u.God has made a large variety of creations & draws people 2 Him in all different ways,most of them surprising 2 us! ;)

I love Skillet and have all their songs. Excuse my comment if it offends you. He doesn't say in the video, "my mom died when I was 14." I apologize I am more occupied with college and the US. Army then researching a singers history.
@timothytots Me personally (not trying to diss ya) I think its more clever if they don't. Whispers In The Dark is obviously spoken from God's point of view, but I think it makes for better songs if they are creative with it and less blunt. Either way, the tunes rock lol Finally saw them live last night =D
@XConN1ck24X Tell me about it. These guys are not christian. Did you what he said "we just trying to giv people a peace of mind thats why we don't mention jesus in are songs". A peace of mind don't get people saved.
@JesusMusicHead Yeah but the problem is when artists try to be like the world. Jesus said himself that must not be like the world and must be like him. If a band which sounds secular and their videos look secular and they do not want to mention God so they don't "bash" people, it concerns me greatly. Also they may have done worship albums in the past but you have to look at what their doin now. Satan is stepping up his game and can work very subtlety.
