- Chicago rapper Boss Top came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he opened up about being born in the city’s Southside and being cousins with late rapper King Von. During the conversation, Boss Top also addressed past legal issues, including facing 45 years in prison. From there, he spoke about his friendship with Fredo Santana, who Boss Top revealed he spoke to before his untimely passing, which led the rapper to address other losses he’s experienced in life. While speaking about losses, Boss Top also addressed violence in Chicago and surrounding rappers from the city, including Lil Reese and Lil Durk, who lost his brother to violence earlier this year. Hearing him discus his kids path made me happy. That’s the key. But what he needs to understand is his part in that. If he gets taken out of the equation and his kids feel that loss it can change everything DRASTICALLY. it’s a chain of events he has to keep in the back of his mind at all times. Stay safe for them.

The realest thing we can take out of O Block is that there was pure talent flowing out of the walls there.
