IT was Carlo who coached him to be a better decision-maker in the final third. It was also Benzema who helped him in the training ground on that aspect too.

To be fair, Benzema took him under his wing. Still foul for saying that but he helped him out a lot along the way. Vini came on to the team at the right time. Like you said, we didn’t have many options on the left side and even Hazard underperforming was a blessing in disguise for him and the team. I remember when they were comparing him to Fati. Now we have one of the best players in the world. Right now his biggest flaw is letting his emotions get the best of him during games , he’s easily drawn in to arguments. But he’s no doubt one of if not our best player.

Vinicius story reminds me of Cristiano Ronaldo's beginning in Manchester. Cristiano Ronaldo started at ManUtd when he was 18 just like Vinicius at Real madrid. Craziest talent but endproduct was meh. His first two season where something between absolute genius and pure frustration. His third season was a respectable but still not really satisfying improvement but his fourth season (2006/07) was a complete game changer where he ended second at the Ballon d'or at 22 and competed with or surpassed legends like Ronaldinho, Kaka, Pirlo, Henry and more. In the next season he completely owned world football and he won the Ballon d'or at 23. Will Vinicius is now 22 but might win his first Ballon d'or at 23 way before the more hyped (in some cases even overhyped) players like Felix, Mbappe or Haaland. That would be a great story.
You never know vinci could win the ballon dor and if he does I’d say he’d be better then even prime Neymar.

So what was missing was that in those games without scoring he recently played 20 minutes. Zidane didn't give him a chance, he was a simple substitute, not a starter as he appears in the video. Because if you look at their current number, the number of shots on goal is tremendous, he's trying all the time and doesn't get tired, he needs playing time, he always has.
