Real Madrid just won the Champions League, and considering his performances and goal contributions in the quarter final, semi final, and final, everybody and their dog seem to have already written off the 2024 Ballon d’Or as Vini’s award.
Does he deserve it? He probably does.
But will he win it? He probably won’t.

I’d say a football journalist is a football professional tbh. How would you define it? I think a journalist usually knows more than most players. The problem is finding people that are not biased in football
a journalist is literally spending his entire professional time with football. He probably knows more about what's going on in the various leagues than a football player who is focused solely on his self and his team.
The worst thing is bias. There are idiots who vote for his friends only. Players like Modric or Ramos never left out Messi in the vote. But for example Suarez or Neymar always voted for only barcelona players (Neymar included Mbappe later on as well, I guess).

Well, the ballon d'Or actually is from August of the last year until July of the current year. Benzema won the Ballon d'Or 2022 regardless of any GREAT performance in Europe cup as well. He deserved it and it would be unfair if any other player just played good in Europe cup. Besides he didn't even played for France. Then, came the second Balloon d'Or (2023, Messi) in same timeframe which includes the world cup.
So this means, Vini Jr is already the best player in the world (2024). Whatever happens in July this year will count to the next Balloon d'Or.

-Kroos cannot win the Ballon d'Or cause he's retiring after the Euros and once he retire he's not more in contention cause he has No team and is not even a Football player anymore

-Yeah every debut season is important in the Ballon d'Or, With Mbappe going to Madrid and being a striker he will easily Overshadow Vinicius and Bellingham(Cause before all Bellingham is a Midfielder) (This is not Objective, it's a suggestion) same for Harry Kane
-An Vinicius record with Brazil hasn't shown greatness, don't get me wrong he's recent performance with Brazil in the Friendlies were remarkable it he keeps does heights and with the team he have not gon' lie he can win the Copa
- As we speaking the favourite is surely Vinicius with a short lead over Bellingham(Cause of his PR and media)
So my take is that:
-Although the stellar performance of Vinicius he must either reach the same heights as Bellingham in the International tournaments or surpass him inorder to win
-Kane cannot win because he's English like Bellingham, i guess we all know why
-If Mbappe ends up going higher in the Euros compared to Bellingham and Vinicius with a 2 place difference( e.g: Winner and 3rd place ,something like that) and considering a Good Debut season it would be a tough one
-If Mbappe ,Bellingham and Vinicius ends at the same height and considering they all have stellar debut season, Mbappe is out of conversation.
-For the GOATS, my take is that i will only consider them if they End up winning their respective tournaments or if they Bag they Individual award and end at least 2nd Place

If Ronaldo win European Nations competition will Ballon do'r and if Messi win compa American will win Ballon do'r. Ballon do'r is ridiculous it supposed be choosing the player who performes well winning the trophy and without winning a trophy as long you perform well you are going to win it. Ballon do'r ceremonies it's bias especially some Messi's Ballon do'r. Some of Messi's Ballon do'r got robbed from other players. Messi didn't performance good at the world cup but some how he won Ballon do'r because of winning the world which it made Halaand deserved to win Ballon do'r but he didn't when you compare performance Halaand should have won the Ballon do'r. The Balon d'or is a prostituted trophy that's been awarded a lot of times to players who don't deserve it. Especially one of them, the most overrated player in history. This particular guy won a Ballon d"or for kicking 5 pennalties in a world cup, something never seen before in history. Personally, I don't give a rat's ass who wins it.
