Not fake. Tesla gave the new Model Y some goodies in China that the other markets wont get (yet?). It’s to compete with other manufacturers in the aggressive Chinese EV market. No information when or if any of these mods will make it to EU or NA markets. My guess is that they’ll probably wait for Juniper redesign to introduce all the new features worldwide.

The rear screen is build in after. It’s obviously an android OS screen and not Tesla’s software. 4:36. So it makes me question the ambient lighting in the front and painted wheel covers too.

Actually the ambient lighting is correct. And the dash material has indeed changed. It’s on the Tesla website in Chinese region. I’m not sure about the back screen though
I’ve 2024 model just got few days back but that have wooden display on front of steering and there aren’t rear seat screen and also don’t have ambience lights
If you're in the US or elsewhere, you will not see these changes. China always gets the exclusive cool stuff. For the Model Y in China, they got the single strip ambient lighting on the dash, default black gemini wheel covers (instead of silver), some new material on the dash/doors, and some people have mentioned things about them having the "TESLA" puddle lights when the doors are opened. However as others have mentioned, the rear screen shown in this video is aftermarket so that's the only thing in this video that doesn't come with the car.

At least I get to see something new in a Model Y, The new dashboard and ambient Lightning. We never know what Tesla can do, we never expected a rear screen in the New Model 3, but it was a surprise. Tesla is full of surprises.

Viewers need to do their research before making such comments. I took delivery of a Y Performance Quicksilver this past week. First Tesla and EV. Happy so far. Locked in on 0.99% interest for six years🙌🏻 with only $2k down payment. Because why not.
When driving a Tesla, one will feel like driving a goff cart. After owning it for 12 months, the battery dropped between 15 to 20%, after 21,000 miles, we had to replace new tires, cost us $1,500 for four tires. One can own it, very difficult to maintain on all expenses. Our Tesla had no spare tire. On the way to the special event, tire got a flat, tow truck came and tow our Tesla away due to no spare tire to swap it. In our view, it isn't worth to have a Tesla.

Great show! I am so curious what Tesla is doing with Model Y. I noticed on the mobile web when you go to the configurator it does not offer the opportunity to order a Model Y, it only allows you to "shop available" cars in stock. Very interesting. tesla seems to be focused on clearing out remaining Model Ys, I believe the Model Y Juniper refresh is coming faster than Tesla has let on. What do you think?
They better upgrade their models. It is too simplistic and generic for a luxury car that cost 50k+. Take exemple of other luxury brands like Mercedes,bmw, even Cadillac stepping up their game. If no changes, Tesla sales and notoriety will definitely fall hard within the next 4 years.

It’s like the iPhones are falling short compared to the Samsung gallaxy 25 s plus has the best features like in photos it’s got a filters built into it. Taking out objects, improving photo and faces slim options or improve skin textures, make up and hair. It has AI built into it. Text messages with language translations built into it. iPhones have done nothing to wow its customers. I’m done with them. They screwed us to stay loyal to them

Have you noticed that the AWD long range Model Y 2024 is a halirious 308 miles only. That should not be called long range. And since Tesla recommend charging up to only 80% (for battery longevity reasons) and do not use the last 5% (to avoid battery drainage), so there is only 75% usable range on a daily basis. So 75% of the stated 308 miles means only 231 miles usable range if we want to keep the battery life long. And the range will only get worst as the vehicle and battery age.
