Great video thank you. If I may, after following these steps I found a key point was missing. That is how to lift and manoeuvre the TV during this process. For some who have not seen this TV, 80% of the screen is as thin as a piece of corrugated cardboard. Lifting and laying it down on the screen the right way, is critical to not damage it. A large table top with a blanket across it is key. Hold the tv under the thicker part from both sides (two people), with the second hand about half way up the sides. This tv is spectacular!!
What you are saying is basically that you must handle it with care. Very common knowledge. I lifted it at the top half of the screen, the very thin one, and managed just fine. Because I was careful.

I am on my second base right now. I have the Costco model OLED65C1AUB. For the life of me, I cannot get the screw holes to line up properly. They fit fine in that long piece, but when I insert it into the base it is slightly off centered and the screws feel like they will cross thread. I tried taking off the metal plate as well figuring that maybe the plate was screwed down to tight affecting the alignment. However, it just doesn't line up. Does anyone have a clue for a workaround? Or is there something I am missing?
@@danielhaughton1165 By loosening the screws on the metal plate, but not completely removing it I was able to align the left screw. It was still a little resistant but ended up aligning as I screwed it in slowly but not all the way tight. I then used that as a pivot point to start the right screw and middle screw. Same thing, they were a little resistant but ended up going in without crossthreading. So I think the issue is LG torques down that metal plate too much which causes misalignment.
