Freesia & Triteleia 🌺🌼in Containers for Jump Start on Spring// from Campbell’s Freedom Farm

Every year people by Amaryllis Bulbs, or other spring or summer bulbs and throw them away at the end of the year. The other option is to dig and dry them before overwintering. Why? Because they are usually annual bulbs/corms. But by planting these bulbs and corms In containers and overwintering them there they become perennial plants.
And what’s crazy, they get stronger bulbs and corms and produce more flowers every year!
I grow in one container lemon verbena for my year long teas I make. In the same container I can throw in my Amaryllis from Christmas. And believe it or not there’s still a little more space to add my freesia and tritelia bulbs. Then I do nothing except feed the container throughout the year. What could be more simple?

I wasn’t sure do those flowers come back every year? I did it once before and the following year didn’t grow again. Is there any anyway to know if it died or something happened to it? How do you check to see if it’s rotted or damaged What are the signs? If u have a video you made about that can send the link ? Thank you so much my children and I are very excited
