I own a pair of custom White's Smokejumpers I have worn while doing landscaping work since 2014. People often misunderstand the design of the Cuban heel. It is not a style choice. Once you start wearing them, you realize that you can be on your feet all day in all sorts of terrain without the pain or discomfort you associate with the job. I own some fine pairs of Red Wing and Thoroghgood boots, but I couldn't work in them for long without feeling the results in my legs and hips. I'm glad I spent the $550 on these.
They make those wiht the 55 last. I got sold on that last when I got a pair of Stockmans. They’re easily the most comfortable boot I’ve ever owned. Once they broke in (which didn’t take long) I’d rather wear them than anything else. Some days, when I get home from work, I just leave the boots on because they’re so comfortable. My next pair will be one of these Semi-dress in black CXL. Sooooo looking forward to them!
I bought this exact pair in 2012. I wore through the vamp and got them rebuilt with chromexcel toes and they still look good to this day. The tongue is super worn out
I got the same boot in horsehide (up charge) in spring of 2018 and love them! I wear them pretty much every day, for work and personal. They’ve held up great but they’re ready for a rebuild now. I don’t regret this purchase at all.
It's not "feminine", it's OLD FASHIONED. Yes, female shoes had it, men's shoes had it as well. White's has been around a long time. They haven't changed much. Thank goodness 👍

How would you compare the size with your Rangers? I wear a 9.5 Ranger and love the White's but I don't know how they compare. For me the 9.5 is a snug, but not tight fit and that's what I'm after.
If you are going to compare call Bakers and ask for Kyle or Bryson their the owners I’m a 10EE in iron Rangers I’m a 9.5 EE in the custom Bounty hunter and Semi dress and a 9EE in the MP Sherman or service boot
I’m a 9D in Iron Rangers, but they are a bit snug. I went to Bakers and got sized for a pair of Whites Bounty Hunters in a 9E on the 55 last. I’ve sold all my Red Wings and now 3 pairs of Whites
