What makes a "good actor" is the ability _slip_ through the cracks every once in a while for added personality. Amber presented Mera at face value: Amber Heard in a wig. Anyone who has experienced or can recreate adrenaline in a fight for their life could have done that much more for the character. Scarlett Johansson would've given a performance worthy of naming the second move "Mera."
On a serious note, I caught your sarcasm, I know it was a joke. I was just saying it seems unfair for those who act with trauma to get undermined by Heard's performance.

Jonny has REAL issues too. She caused her own down fall by not being able to self-reflect and seek help for her issues, but Jonny was dealing with real issues and was in need of help too. From drugs to the rock bottom of dating Heard Jonny wasn't in the right place of mind either. While I am trying to be funny by saying she was worse for him than drugs, I honestly pray for the both of them and all the people mixed up in this. May they both have a wakeup call, may we all.

You know, a lot of people say Amber is a bad actress but I have to disagree. Very few actors try method acting but she certainly did and it enhanced her performance imo. In the wine glass scene for example: she went above and beyond for a role by using Johnny Depp’s fingers as target practice for when she had to break the bottles in set.
