Agree. Frankly I think this is pretty bad. It is just a lot of amp and assisted noises. There are so many other, both acoustic and electric, takes on this piece that not only beat this but are more creative and harmonic (acoustically speaking).
@@ia1530 frankly I disagree...🤷♂️
Lol I was just thinking Isn’t there way they could play it any slower? lol 😂

INCREDIBLE 😅MASTERZ First STATED SONG!Nice Version Thanks SLASH 🎸🎸
Winwood's laugh and applause at the end was priceless.
Roy Buchanan's version with his telecaster is worth watching.
Why don't u just listen rn to Slash?
Roy is the King
wow what a masterpiece of a cover ,really gets the blood pumping
Slash killed it!! Even right down to the cherry of his cigg!
I'd like to know what Stevie Winwood thinks of Slash's take on the song. Winwood played organ on the original Voo-Doo Chile (long version) on Electric Ladyland.
Holy shit that’s awesome!
No s##t
Cool news.
Just take a look at winwood's smile at the end.
OMG, does Slash play a mind blowing combination of virtuosity, improvisation, style, dirt and grit, and technique. Wow. What a freakin' bad A guitarist.
Great cover! Only 1 Hendrix, but Slash kicks ass. Winwood is great and the whole band is top notch
Love how you can hear someone in the band yell "let it go" at 4:22 and then Slash just turns it up with no hesitation. Cool moment I dont think alot of people cought.
That’s a subtle way to deliver a tribute: have one of rock’s great vocalists plus one of rock’s great guitarists ... and show that together they are not a patch on Jimi.
Billy Cox, Mitch Mitchell, Steve Winwood and Slash ❤
Steve Winwood is the most underrated muso of the last 50 years.
I don't think he's underrated at all! He's legendary with a resume a mile long, musician, vocalist, songwriter....he's the man
@@memphisslimbo9837 I agree. I just don't think he has had the level of recognition he deserves.
I found that to be a proper rendition of a classic hit song. They did change it slightly but not so much that you couldn't know exactly what song they were covering. Nicely done.
Slash is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 serious legend, Iconic
This is freedom!!! Listening to this freeing!! Thank you Jimi, Thank you Slash!!!
Lovely to hear a proper Les Paul solo.
Espetacular! Cantor, guitarrista, baterista s baixista !
Grande tributo, amo Jimmy Hendrix e esta belíssima 🎶 música HeiJoe 🔥💯🥳✌👏✈🌏👍🙏🔥🇧🇷
Abraço do Brasil ♥️🇧🇷♥️🇧🇷
Brilliant! Slash knocked it out of the park!
Then Slash played Hey Joe on a Les Paul, and all was right with the world.
Yes, now I can die happy.
AND ALL HIS LOYAL AND DEVOTED FOLLOWERS SHALL FOREVER ANNOINT THE TRUE ROCK KING ..LORD JIMI
Jimi !!!! Often copied but NEVER duplicated!!!!
Jimi!! He copied often but not near as much as he is overated!
Dream on @@robsim4692
For me its the best performance ever in history of music
That was a wonderful tribute to Jimi. I'm sure he's up there smiling now.
Wow!! Didn't know that side of Slash put some pretty good feel on that Les Paul, 👍
Winwood killing it man. Slash as well. Sweet!
recorded with Noel Redding on bass and Mitch Mitchel on drums. Billy Cox appeared later
Hendrix would have been overly proud of this golden performance by the great Slash!!!Awesome 👍
K me head phone is
Yes he would 🎸
E o que Eric Clapton ..falou ? alguem sabe ?
He certainly would 👌🎸
He's probably rolling over in his grave saying "WTF is this shit?"
🤣
With Slash on guitar 🎸 and Steve Winwood singing 🎵 you know it’s going to be great. 👍❤️
Like trying to explaine the colour of wind, RIP Jimi..🤗
Stolen from Frank Sinatra
You knew Slash was going to KILL IT
It's not easy to step into the footprints of a guitar legend like Hendrix, as you can hear in the playing of the man with the hat and the funny hairdo...
Slash did a great job in this idk what ur talking about. I’m the first person to call out slash on his bullshit but once he got into it on this one he did a good job
Slash is an above average player BUT he is also over rated. IMO not a top 10 or 12 guy all time
@@alivstyson1864 yup
@@alivstyson1864you've bumped your head or lost your mind but either way definitely confirmed your judgement can't be trusted! Can't wait to hear who your Top 10 or 12 is or let's say your top 5 who I almost guarantee I can guess at least 3!
@@robsim4692 You think Slash is a Top 10 all time guitarist AND I BUMPED MY HEAD HUH ? Lmao !
and since you asked
1 Jeff Beck
2 Steve Vai
3 Django Rhinhart
4 Eddie Van Halen
5 Jimi Hendrix
6 Jimmy Page
7 Stevie Ray Vaughn
8 Roy Buchanan
9 Chet Atkins
10 Frank Zappa and or Joe Pass
The Best JH I've ever heard. Amazing! Intense. Awesome. I can only say Wow!
I believe that is Mitch Mitchell playing drums...Jimi's original drummer.
Thought as much and was that Billy Cox on bass for good measure? 😅
Steve Winwood is an Excellent guitar player as well !!!
Slash is amazing💚💝💝💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Goosebumps 🪿 🦆 ❤
Slash and Warren is always my maister of Les Paul!!
Of course Page too...
Ladies and Gentleman! Mitch Mitchell on drums!!
you know its GOOD when some of the licks give you GOOSEBUMPS! Awesome
❤
Billy Cox is awesome.
Slash, There are no words.
Way to kick ass Stevie and Slash!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻😎😎😎
Yes. It was nice.
I am 67, since I discovered this take i play it once a week, briljant !
world's greatest cowboy song ever
Why is nobody noticing that its Billy Fucking Cox on Bass. Just one of Jimi's best friends and Original bass player buddies and then theres Mitch fucking Mitchell playing the drums! Slash is in dreamland. He would never have dreamt or thought he would play with these two legends. God damn!
Probably the best solo I’ve seen slash do, he did what jimi did and just let loose 🤘🏻
you never thought youd here these two together huh? well i didnt.Im blown away
I almost never think this, but this cover is better than the original.
You must still be stoned.
What a classical piece of ingenuity this recording is. Masterpiece.
