  • We walk around the Runaway Campers 4x8 CoolCamp showing some of the standard option and a few extra additions. The CoolCamp is what started it all off for us and is our lightest offering.

    Bring back the Slice model... or something smaller and tinier for those of us who have small spaces to store a trailer☺

    Love these campers and this company. One day I hope they offer awning type windows and a roof mounted exhaust fan as build out options. Thanks for sharing

      The windows are unlikely due to cost, I’ve checked 😁
      Exhaust fan… 😉

    This is a nice model. I been looking at tear drops for a year now. This one is very promising. Easy to manage and affordable! The price is right. Of all the ones I've seen this one and 2 others fall in a reasonable price range. But this one has a/c !

      @@runawaycampers Does the ac outside cabinet keep water out if your pulling down the highway in a rain storm? I'd think it would channel water away good.

    • @runawaycampers
      @runawaycampers  6 месяцев назад +1

      It keeps water out of it very well. The front of the cover is an aluminum expanded metal so it's always a possibility for water to find its way in but it has not been much of a concern. We have had customers decide to go as far as covering the front section but I don't think its necessary and defeats the purpose of having a hardshell cover you don't have to remove to run the a/c.

      @@runawaycampersCan you replace the ac if it goes out years later? Is there a bottom and top skrews to remove inside the camper?

    This would be perfect with a pop up (canvas sided)for those of us planning for long use and not just short trips. It shouldn't add much weight but allows for the convenience of standing up.

      Would definitely be an interesting concept! 🤘🏼

      I thought exactly the same thing! Or even a hinge on it like the Viking express so it's a half A for standing room while dressing.

      I even thought about fold down door with canvas like the hybrid campers have.

      Pop up sucks. Cheap shit with no longevity.

    Question - Are you going to make slice again i need one for my can-am to ride the usa trip many thanks

    • @runawaycampers
      @runawaycampers  8 месяцев назад

      We currently have no plans. The slice wasn’t a big seller and when we came out with the new materials the CoolCamp dropped to almost the same weight and we actually had customers cancel slice orders to change to the new cool camp. We just had a local guy complete a trip around the whole US on his trike pulling a CoolCamp.

    question - are there any dealers in ontario canada? if not, are there any fees and/or by-law regulations if I were to bring a runaway camper into ontario canada?

    • @runawaycampers
      @runawaycampers  5 месяцев назад

      We do not have any dealers your side of the border but we do have several customers. No other fees from us but I’m unsure what Canada or your province charges. We have some great customers on our facebook pages that might be able to give you more insight on what they had to pay. I know the last one we sent his paperwork to him ahead of time so he could get his tag before he came down.
