  • These pictures are from another of our camera locations in the stroud valleys Gloucestershire. As you can clearly see the animal in question appears to be leaping into the tree ,holding on for a short time before dismounting. Automatically we can rule out any farm stock , Cows horses or sheep , Dogs can't grip trees or climb them , not a Fox or Deer of any kind , We strongly believe that this is one of the Big Cats that we encounter , from the agile manor it seems to move around we also believe that this cat is not the big tom we captured on camera already this year which is showing signs of age and of bulky stature but rather a female or youngster , these images are two days after our last video Big Cat Checks out the camera...Enjoy.

    Around here we call those "shadows". Even if it is a critter, there are a number of beasties that climb trees like that shadow appears to. Of course we DO have actual big cats in my area, as well as bear cubs that are fond of climbing trees.

      @@marionsadventuresincameraland. Western US. We have cougars here. They are very shy tho'. I've only seen one once. Pretty sure they could survive in the UK tho', if one escaped from a zoo or was someone's pet. If it was a critter looked an awful lot like a bear cub to me. Do they have bears in the UK?

    • @marionsadventuresincameraland.

      @@user-cl4lg8hs4s cheers for replying , yeh cougars could easily survive, american winters are way colder than uk. nah we don't have bears luckily , we have martins but they're not much bigger than a squirrel though , you have fishers ,,, like a martin but bigger.

    They do climb trees and drag carcasses up there especially Deer. I have seen big cats in the west of England and Wales area and their traces. They are here.

    • @marionsadventuresincameraland.
      @marionsadventuresincameraland.  4 месяца назад

      agreed they spend more time in the trees than people think , they come from dense jungle where they spend up to 80% of their time , Thanks for your comment

      @@MrVelorider Lots of experts though, who've also said there's no evidence. They've even done a couple of TV programmes where they brought in expert trackers from Africa - home of big cats you might say - who also came up with nothing.

    These videos of vague shapes on a trail cam do not help the case to prove that big cats live in the UK (i believe they are living in the UK by the way)

      thanks for taking the time to look , these are just some of the images we have and they are not conclusive we agree they will however help with further camera placement as they show a tree climbing animal bigger than a domestic cat in an area where we have previously found evidence plz check out big cat caught on camera, field signs found woodchester and for clearer images of cats check out melonistic leopards of stroud playlist atb :)

    How do you know thats a big cat? all i see is an anomaly on that tree its not clear enough to make out.

      Cheers for asking , We don't for sure hence the ? in the title. However this camera is in an area where the cat has been reported several times, caught on camera at least once (2012), Left multiple signs as in Scats, Plucking on trees , multiple carcasses . The creature in the image although not clear enough to tell for sure,it's true identity does twist and move as felines do but is far to big to be a domestic or a squirrel or martin and is too far up the trunk to have been a badger.Please check out ..Big Cat caught on camera, field signs found .Woodchester.....Here you'll see some of the evidence. Thanks for watching.

    Let me put it this way. Years ago friends set up cameras on their property to see what wildlife they have (in the countryside) and got fabulous stills of what appeared to be a huge black cat. Looked just like a panther and locals got quite excited. Until someone came back from holiday and pointed out it was actually their cat, but the way/the angle the cameras took the images you'd swear it was the size of a leopard. Sorry but this reminds me of that, only their images were much better.

      know exactly what you mean , this isn't the clearest but if you would care to browse a couple of the videos that say Melanistic Leopards , then you will see we have caught them a few times and although context wise not the best, we have quite a few that show scale. cheers for watching

      And we have a winner!! These guys are posting video of something smaller your average house cat as a "sighting." Definitely in the weasel family.

      haha sarcasm i believe you yanks are the ones who oversize everything,, the animal in question is approx 3 feet long , too large for our weasles i'm sorry, and too large to be a standard house cat .this is not posted as a sighting that would imply we saw this at the time, that is not the case ,this is a photograph captured on a trail camera .@@Red.Hot.Chili.Beans63
