  • I have been fascinated by the story of the Titanic since I was young. The tale of the worlds largest ship has been retold many times. And in todays episode I put my spin on things.
On the evening of Sunday the 14th of April 1912 the RMS Titanic was steadily making its way across the Atlantic Ocean towards America and New York City from Southampton in England.
A few hours later the maiden voyage would end in disaster as over 1500 people would be killed.
What happened to the RMS Carpathia after the disaster-

I’m glad you mentioned that Ismay and Murdoch at the end I always feel they get stick as does The Captain but one can’t imagine the grief and terror they want threw

I had a relative who survived the sinking - I never knew her - but those that did said she was terrified of water and the cold - I can’t imagine how sad it must be to say goodbye to your husband or children

The most famous tragedy in “modern” times.
So many things went against those involved, but ultimately, without the disaster maritime law wouldn’t of been changed

To this day , when the ship " snapped " in two is hotly debated , as the debris field at the bottom of the sea , suggests the the RMS Titanic actually broke in two BELOW the water , and not as portrayed by Hollywood

I believe that a lot of the survivors stated that they saw it snap with its stern sticking out of the water.

Alot of the dialogue of the background characters was supposedly based on those who were present at the time

Apparently , there was a coal fire in the forward area of the ship early on the voyage ( even before the Titanic left Southampton_ , which ( may have ) weakened the bow , contributing to the sinking of the vessel

Another one is that JP Morgan killed all his competitors, I don’t buy that one personally, there’s not reason to sink your own ship, nor taht the ship would sink, or that your competitors would die
