Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
Great review and installation instructions I now know I can do this with a little help setting the 83” tv on the bracket better than paying 250$ for it
I bought this exact mount… for an 85” 100 pound Samsung TV. Mounted the rails perfectly level, and also checked arms for level. Despite being level the heavier bigger TV wants to sag to one side a couple degrees. The levelling adjustment screw on the back is tiny and the single screw that holds your chosen levelled spot in place is just once screw on center so the heavier and wider 85” tv has no problem sagging itself despite the levelling correction I made. I bought a second unit only to find the exact same results Not Happy with this product, I’d ignore the large amount of 5 star reviews out there if your using it for the larger tv’s
I had the same issue supporting a 65" LG TV once I fully extended the mount past 24" it would sag slowly to the left. I called sanus support and they said it happens because of the low mounting point on the back of the LG TV
How the he'll did you get your cable covers off? I've had a screw drive in the grooves and smacked it and still won't come off... the instructions in the manual give you now idea how to do it...
Is the mount able to tilt downwards ? If I mount the TV up because I’m also gonna mount my Sonos Arc to this mount with Sanus sonos arc tv mount and want to be able to tilt my tv downwards since it will be higher up on the wall?
Oh hey buddy, is it possible to zip tie the cords to the arms, since the cable management isn't the best...or will that be an issue when you push it flush against the wall? Please let me know.
I bought this wall mount. I am very concerned about how the tv attaches on the very small hook thing (where you attach to wall mount arm). I have a 77” Oled, and I want to make sure it’s secure and won’t fall off.
Can you tilt it down instead of just right and left? If you can’t tilt it down could you tell me where to buy a curved tv mount where I can move it down
Not helpful. Should’ve shown the locking mechanism because I’m trying to take this thing down and I need a video to show specifically where did the taxes thing so I can take the TV off
how wide is the wall mount plate hole spacing at the max? because I bought a near identical version of this from Cotsco for $150 (extends 28" from the wall) but the absolute morons over at Sanus do not seem to know how stud spacing works because the wall mount plate provided with that model comes up about an inch and half or two inches too short and it can not reach the studs on either end and even if I try and off center it it does not work either because the hole spacing just sucks and the holes are only on the very ends and not across both horizontal bars like on my old non extending mount and on many other full motion mounts , there are no holes in the middle so there is literally no way to use the mount no matter which way you put it it does not line up with any studs no matter I do. The designers over at Sanus must be complete imbeciles to have designed such a useless product, all they had to do was make the wall plate about 1.75 inches longer and make the holes come about 3/4 or 1" over more, it is really too bad because I really wanted to like this product because of its long extension and deep pocketed arm channels for cable management but it is of no use to me at all now because of their moronic decisions or maybe not so moronic because if this one in the video has a wider backplate I will be forced to go out and buy this one for $150 more because I and really nearsighted and I want the 28" extension, the one from Costco has much deeper channels in the arms for better cable management than this one but I can not use it unless I drill out the plate and make my own mounting holes This is the second one I bought from Sanus from Costco , they just redesigned it like the week after In bought it the new redesigned model is $5 cheaper and it extends 2 extra inches (28" instead of 26") when I went to Costco the week after purchasing the redesigned one I noticed it was not the same as the one I had so I went and got the new one but also the one I got the week earlier had a broken wall mount plate, the wall mount on the redesign version is also different on the old one, it had 2 metal horizontal rails but the two vertical rails were made from really cheap plastic , when I opened the box on of the vertical rails was snapped in half , Sanus promptly sent out a replacement bracket which I still have after deciding to return the old one to the store anyways because of the added benefits and slightly lower price to the newly redesigned model which is now the only one Costco sells from Sanus in that category now , and I have compared the old and new wall mount plates and the hole spacing did not change at all , there is no way to mount either plate to the wall because of the poor decision by Sanus to make the hole spacing just slightly too short, this pisses me off so bad and makes me never want to buy or trust another Sanus product ever again, who knows what other mistakes they have made, will my $2K OLED come crashing to the floor next because of some other horrible yet unforeseen design decision? I though these guy were supposed to be the experts but apparently they have no clue. Like how do you do this for a living and not know that the spacing is so bad that the product can not even be used at all? I mean I know my house is old and probably was built before modern code but all they had to do was make it not even 2" wider and or make better hole spacing , I wonder how many of these unit are being returned because of unmountablity and how many other people just end up buying this more expensive unit in the video after wasting their time with the Costco model, what a friggin ordeal for something that should just be so simple and just work, I should have stuck with the cheapo harbor Freight model and just sacrificed the extra couple inches I am a property owner and I won't be purchasing from Sanus again!
One of the best reviews I have ever watched. Thorough and to the point.
Thank you for making this video! Helped me mount this today with a 86" TV
When the TV is extended and angled it appears to no longer be level, like it's tilting.
That’s cause he didn’t install it correctly
How did you get the cable covers off, I have been trying to work it out on mine and can't do it
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. You should of raised it 6-10incjes if you dresser. You can tilt your tv forwards or backwards. Now you can’t place anything on That dresser top
perhaps he considered this and it's not a concern...
Maybe he’s now getting rid of the dresser
It looks like you added another bolt to hold up that extremely heavy wall plate?
Crazy low. Agreed
Great review and installation instructions I now know I can do this with a little help setting the 83” tv on the bracket better than paying 250$ for it

Thank you. Was about to waste money. Which did you get?

Can you please show image of all the step. I couldn’t see which side the bracket on tv go.
Is there a big difference between this VLF728-B2 model?
It doesn’t seem to have any differences
Appreciate you putting this video together.
How the he'll did you get your cable covers off? I've had a screw drive in the grooves and smacked it and still won't come off... the instructions in the manual give you now idea how to do it...
what size tv is this one? can tv swing all the way to one of the sides of the arm (when fully extended)?
Hi,
Great video thank you for making. Can you advise how big the TV you used here is ?
Can I fit a wall mount with holes 400x400mm to a sony x90k 55"?
does the back plate span two studs?
Is the mount able to tilt downwards ? If I mount the TV up because I’m also gonna mount my Sonos Arc to this mount with Sanus sonos arc tv mount and want to be able to tilt my tv downwards since it will be higher up on the wall?
Just bought this exact same mount for an 85 inch Sony X90L it’s awesome well worth it $300 for the mount
This video was about the INSTALLATION of the TV mount, I want to know about the capabilities it has...
Oh hey buddy, is it possible to zip tie the cords to the arms, since the cable management isn't the best...or will that be an issue when you push it flush against the wall? Please let me know.
Thank you for the great tutorial - much appreciated.
The Sanus height calculator at their website does not work. It hangs up at step 5.
How do you unhook it
I bought this wall mount. I am very concerned about how the tv attaches on the very small hook thing (where you attach to wall mount arm). I have a 77” Oled, and I want to make sure it’s secure and won’t fall off.
Has it survived!? Sorry same mount size tv
Can you tilt it down instead of just right and left? If you can’t tilt it down could you tell me where to buy a curved tv mount where I can move it down
Yes, you can. You can tilt down, right, left, and up.
Helped out a lot! Thanks!
Not helpful. Should’ve shown the locking mechanism because I’m trying to take this thing down and I need a video to show specifically where did the taxes thing so I can take the TV off
Three screws on the top one screw at the bottom is the correct way to
Thank you for many my life so much easier!
Sincere Prairie
Good shit. Subbed
Love the mount just wished it didn’t require two people to remove it
Are you a girl!? Lol I'll help

This is the second one I bought from Sanus from Costco , they just redesigned it like the week after In bought it
the new redesigned model is $5 cheaper and it extends 2 extra inches (28" instead of 26")
when I went to Costco the week after purchasing the redesigned one I noticed it was not the same as the one I had so I went and got the new one but also the one I got the week earlier had a broken wall mount plate,
the wall mount on the redesign version is also different on the old one, it had 2 metal horizontal rails but the two vertical rails were made from really cheap plastic , when I opened the box on of the vertical rails was snapped in half , Sanus promptly sent out a replacement bracket which I still have after deciding to return the old one to the store anyways because of the added benefits and slightly lower price to the newly redesigned model which is now the only one Costco sells from Sanus in that category now , and I have compared the old and new wall mount plates and the hole spacing did not change at all , there is no way to mount either plate to the wall because of the poor decision by Sanus to make the hole spacing just slightly too short, this pisses me off so bad and makes me never want to buy or trust another Sanus product ever again, who knows what other mistakes they have made, will my $2K OLED come crashing to the floor next because of some other horrible yet unforeseen design decision?
