- Color Storm: Go wild with some alcohol inks, broken glass, guilding flakes, and holographic embellishments! These are also stunning of you go with either silver or gold, I can't decide which one I like better. Enjoy!

Woah! Beautiful!
Easily my favorite coasters you've done hands down. Love the effects you put in, love how you put the colors together and carried it through all 6 coasters. Great job!! I just love everything about them.
Please more videos with instruction. Your work is gorgeous.
Only the older videos are like this one, I had to really work to get myself to start talking so eventually I’ll re-do older ones with voice
Gorgeous
Your videos are so mesmerizing. I was shocked when you started using the foil quill! I have one for my Silhouette but I have not seen the handheld pen version. Now I need one of those! :) Beautiful as usual.
You can’t go wrong with rainbow! Love this one.
LOVE LOVE LOVE... Christy you’re such a fantastic artist so creative! This one with all the colors made me happy! What a way to start my day thanks! You made me giggle when you started with the pen glue... I’m like ok that’s going to take some time... your fantastic
Lol! Yes I hadn’t done the flakes that way before - soooo I won’t be doing that again 🤣
So you still glued the flakes but with a like a white school glue? And do you think could have just put a line of resin and use that as a glue?
@@caronstone4226 It's not a bad idea, the difference is a line of resin would adhere the flakes entirely and I wanted a defined line of them, the flakes stuck only to the glue and when I brushed them off it gave the shattered lightning effect I was going for (via massive flake storm in my craft zone LOL) Also I used Tacky Glue - which is defined under craft glue - but it could be the same as school glue, I will say I had to leave it overnight because it took so long to dry - I will be hunting around for another glue to test --that isn't a glue pen LOL
So maybe you can try the gilding glue used for the leaf specifically you brush on or a jewelry glue for rhinestone etc has a fine tip for precision I have used the jewelry glue it dries very quickly that may work well
Caron Stone I will thanks!
Beautiful 😍😍😍😍
Beautiful. 🌷
Wow its so wonderful painting. You talented. Amazing painting. 👌👌👌👌👌👌
Love, love , love these! Could you make a guess as how long it took, start to finish? I want to make them as a gift and would like to know about how much time to set aside. Thanks!
stacey kranick hi, I spent an hour (give or take) each day - the foil took the longest - and I did them over a 5 day period
Can you use the mehron gold pigment as a floating pigment in resin please? Thanks
Hello how long do you wait after pouring the white to put the alcohol ink? Thank you very much for your videos they are really great.
Hi, the video is pretty close to real time - the first layer was white and the alcohol ink, the second layer was clear with the alcohol ink
At 17:53 you started using a white tool......can you tell me the name of it? 🤔🤔
It is in the comments of the video - foil quill - its super cool
Adding the light was frigging genius 😱 do you mind if i ask what brand of resin you use? Ive been really struggling to find the correct one, as some are yellow, or are tacky, or take 48 to cure😅
Hi, I put a link in the video to the resin I use. Be aware that most casting /epoxy resin's I use take 3 days to cure, but are hard at 12 hours - so the full cure will always take the three days and that one reason why I wait a day in between, it keeps the resin from having slight ripple effects - that being said I do live in Alaska and resin cures based in chemical reactions, so a nicely heated room makes all the difference. If you are trying to cure resin below 72 degrees, it causes some problems
@@ResinAsYouWish thats so helpful to know! Thank you😊
Great coasters! I was told alcohol inks fade- is that your experience? How long do they last? Do resin colors get any “swirl”? Thanks for sharing your creativity.
Hi I haven’t had this experience with my coasters - these coasters were made over a year ago and look at he same to me BUT they have not been sitting in a room with direct daylight- I want to experiment with this and see what happens
would broken sea glass the same as regular glass?
stacey kranick yes I’m sure it would
A lot of work but the result is stunning
Вы- лучшая 🌹👌!!!
The colors are awesome but for me the gold and silver leaf makes the design a little too busy.
Why did you add gold and silver if you were just going to cover it up? Seems like an unnecessary step. 🤷🏼♀️
Mostly, these videos are made to inspire. These looked exactly like I wanted them to in the end, I wanted them to look like they were exploding out, so my visualization of the gold and silver couldn't be perfect - BUT I think there are some really good variations of this and never are all the steps necessary to anyone else's vision of how they want their project to be.
You DEFINITELY inspire! Your work is GORGEOUS. I just wish you actually talked out your process rather than use this music. As an artist, I LOVE hearing from/listening to other artists talk about their processes and their inspiration. It keeps the creativity flowing!! 😊😊
