I bought those LiTime batteries based on your move to them earlier. It was the best advice and decision for my latest Sea Ark 1672 MVT. I had more than 34 hours of use before recharching. Thanks for the tips.
Haha….thats some planer you have there……..I have the 12v Xi3 version of the TM with the anchor mode. I fish mostly in salty tidal rivers. I recently replaced my AGM 92 amp with a 65 amp lithium iron phosphate battery. I get more time out of the smaller lithium. I did it to lighten the tongue weight of my trailer……My battery is in the bow and the lithium weighs over 40 lbs less…….
Random lure question that occurred to me: usually lures are painted with plain white bellies and fancy sides and back. But topwaters are always viewed from below by fish. Would a topwater bait with a strong design on the underside catch more fish than a typical topwater with a plain belly?
When a fish looks up they see the silhouette of the lure in the sunlight. So reflective paint and hard contrasts work well but so do plain white lures so.....the paint job is mostly for the angler.
Could the use of dissimilar metals in your jon boat cause the massive corrosion you found in the wiring? Aluminum doesn’t play well with some other metals. I noticed you have a steel plate that was corroded to support a rear deck area. Steel and aluminum. Coincidence?
You're right to worry about that but, the wire would be affected only if the wiring was bonded to the hull. That would cause major problems. The steel had rust on the surface not where it contacts the aluminum. The rust is from water seeping in. The wires are really inexpensive Amazon products, I'm replacing with good tinned marine wires.
In a previous video, he said it was filled with water. I'm assuming the wires were submerged under water for too long. Then, with it being left in the sun to bake, im sure that's what all caused wires to turn out like that. I could be wrong on my hypothesis though.

What’s the total cost of build?
I'm curious as to what caused corrosion in all the wiring. Simply moisture?

That was cheap Amazon wire...looking for a bargain can sometimes cost more.
Need more plate
you got a 4x8 sheet of ply for $40? wow, thats 50% of what it costs by my
