MINE JUST CAME IN JUSTIN! I ordered from Toys Wonderland and after a long wait my favorite suit has arrived and I am in love! This is my first Hot Toys and even though I knew they are the kings of quality, I was still blown away! Definitely going to buy that suit up Mark-V now!!

seems like the unpainted arc reactor was a QC issue. I just received my world/2nd batch of the figure and it came painted like the original! Amazing figure
Still one of the most stunning Iron Man armors they've made, imo. Got mine a few months ago, and yeah, as one of the older comments here pointed out, my arc reactor is painted, too.

Justin I know it’s been a while but since my grandmother passed away I’ve been seeing a lot of awesome new figures announced and I really wish she was still here to see them. But I know she really liked this armor because she always said this was different from the others. This armor happens to be my fiancé’s favorite armor. I’ll let you know when I get this! I wasn’t collecting Hot Toys when this first came out so glad I have a second shot picking up the Mark 5 die cast. Last year I picked up the TYS Mark 5 suitcase because of your review and have been waiting to display it between the unopened suitcase (that comes with this) and the Mark 5 figure.
I wish the battle damaged chewed up left arm had the light up repulsor, considering they were able to integrate the feature into the first version back then
My copy of the reissue arived today. Fantastic figure. I hesitated to pick it up. The price is pretty hefty here in europe. But it was worth it. 😎👍 Thanks for your detailed unboxing, review videos. They helped me several times in buying decisions. Keep up thr great work. 👌
I think some of at hot toys just forgot to paint your arc reactor because I have just received my copy of the re-issue and mine does have the silver paint on the arc reactor 🤷♂️
@@JustinsCollection hey Justin, just as an update, my figure chest was damaged so they sent me a new torso. the new one that they sent me did not have a pained arc reactor. I think it really is just a figure to figure thing.

It'll look sweet in my display like that. The Hot Toys promotional pics never do the actual figures justice IMO. Your video reviews, on the other hand, make the figure so much more desirable. Thanks Justin, I had to go and order this off of Sideshow's website after watching this review. I have an older Mark V with a light-up base ( unimpressive though) and the Suitcase comes with a pair of functional handcuffs but this one looks a lot better. Mine is not near as shiny. It's more of a darker red and silver. This one is a lot more articulated. I am not worried about the batteries though because I don't use light-up features unless the figure comes with an AC adapter and even then not very often. I do wish though, that you would have shown the process of switching out the parts but it was still an awesome review.

Every red iron man suit should almost be hot rod red in my opinion yet im also sad we dont see more variations in red and i feel like we dont get many other colors wouldve been cool

@@JustinsCollection Thanks for the feedback Justin! For me though it took a bit of work to get that battle damaged shoulder piece to go on, I literally had to take off the right arm while using a bit of extra force to put it in.
Just received my Hot Toys 1/6th scale re-issue of Iron Man Mark V. It's very intricate. Love the detail. It is VERY scary trying to swap in/out damaged pieces. The left shoulder is really, REALLY tight. I was terrified that it'd snap/break off. This isn't a deal breaker but more of a warning to all collectors...be VERY careful with this investment.
@@JustinsCollection Thankfully nothing broke off. I found the directions to be vague where to place your fingers and how much pressure to exert. Still love Hot Toys but this might be their most detailed Iron Man figure
This is really cool I’m so tempted to buy this & swap out the head sculpt for the Twelve o'clock TM008 Tom Cruise iron man & make a version of superior iron man. Great review Justin absolutely loving the channel keep up the great work.
Just ordered mine, will be going next to my mk 5 suit up and my mech suit deluxe. I really wan't the Mk 3 2.0 diecast but its impossible to find in stock for a reasonable price.
@@JustinsCollection I got my Mk 5 diecast 2.0 yesterday and I love the figure but I think I got a dud as their are so many big black scratch marks on mine brand new out of box did you notice any on yours? Are we to assume its "battle damage" even with out the battle damage parts changed on to it? Edit - up on inspecting yours on your close ups and comparing them with mine I can confirm the scratches I am seeing are battle damage as mine are identical, I was worried i had got a bad one as I thought the only battle damage was on the swappable parts that come with it.

@@JustinsCollection it's redicules, and with all the time they didn't improve the broken ark reactor, base ect. I'm pretty suer the paint app is better Imo with the battle damaged arm on the plastic version
