Thank you for saving this fella, I came across your channel by way of animal rescue feeds. Your narratives are so engaging, even for the farthest iota of a horse person. I am a lifelong NYC resident--I have gone on a trail ride in Montauk once as a teenager, and have 3 cats, but I love your passion, knowledge and tireless stewardship of these splendid creatures, even the worst horse is gorgeous and incredible to me. To imagine any of them going to a slaughter house is terrifically heartbreaking.
Okay....I am coming clean. This is my 4th time watching this video. I wish there was a "like" , "really like", and a "really, really like" button to click on. 😊
I love Studman. I had & showed for 30 yrs. I rode English saddle & did Eventing. I'm now 74 & live in a group home. But my horse days was the best days of my life. (Besides having a child). Totally really enjoy your videos 😊
I cannot tell you how much your channel means to me. I can be having a not so good day, put on your videos and feel better. Between your soothing voice and seeing the love you give just makes my heart feel better. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us.
CC you are good medicine for your horses. And, now that this phone is replaced, good medicine for many of us riders and horse men and women who have special attachments to our equestrian days that are revived by viewing your channel. Bravo! Cowgirl, keep on going. The road you walk is all for the good of the horses. 🎉❤
He may have been a nice breeding stallion. He’s smart, decently behaved, and seems to be Arabian. Could be wrong about breed, but that’s my guess. Arabians are quick and fairly adaptable horses.

I am in love with Skeletor. But now… after watching this? Studman is amazing. He broncs, he bucks, he plays! He reminds me of my a horse back in the day way up in Massachusetts. However, he was so gentle with me! ❤
Honey, I love everything you do.To see you resurrect these horses to be free again after they were dumped off like a piece of trash, makes me so very happy. I'm, Donna F. Using a different log in on my tablet so you can know who is commenting. Your videos are very well done and explained. Again thank you for what your doing. I will try to be some support for you. God bless you, sweet lady! Seeing the difference in how he stood and moved after the first temporary shoes was really telling and moving. Don't need to know about horses to see the instant improvement. And when he started running and looking like a handsome, healthy, happy guy - touched my heart. Thank you.
This is excellent care you're giving this stud horse....there is so rare a thing called a horseman...you are definitely a real horseman/woman...😊 This is from an elder horseman/woman..85 years old..
Your heart is wide open and filled with love. Thank you for caring about abandoned creatures that would have died a terrible tortured death. God bless you. If I had money, you and your horses would be my cause. I am 77 with terminal leukemia, but I just wanted to tell you that you matter in this world.😅❤😂❤😊❤
What a great break through you had with Pete today. He's so lucky that he has you as his person that cares and loves him even if he didn't want it. All your love and patience has paid off. Excellent! ❤😊
Had to go back and watch Studman's history again after the recent colicky episode. He is very cute and trainable. It will be fun to see his riding training to come. Its hard to remember all their information So he's 5 and about 14 hands.....Good to know. 😊
Slamming that like button before i even watch the video. Okay, just want to mention that it is NEVER silly to give an injured horse rehab. If you think he needs healing and its something he can recover from, go for it. Your horse, your decision.
The way you transform these magnificent animals is absolutely wonderful to watch. You have patience, knowledge, and compassion in spades. Kudos to you and your heart❤❤❤
You really know how to gain their trust through your patience & love for these horses who have been neglected. I bet you would be a great teacher for adults or youngsters who are new to being around horses or need to learn more if they do have a horse.
I could watch your videos non stop, they make me so happy. I'm a former jumper turned dressage turned too sick to ride with the goal of doing what you're doing when I sell my home and move out to the country with a friend who's also a horse lover. It's always been my dream to rescue horses. In the meantime I rescue cats and dogs. We rescued a gorgeous horse, literally off of a meat truck when I was young and that always stayed with me, he was such an amazing horse and to think, 5 more minutes and his fate would have been sealed. I truly love and admire all you do.l You have a heart of gold. Stud Man is gorgeous, I love that thick stud neck he has and you gave him his life back. They all seem so grateful, I think they know...which is heart breaking for those who don't make it but for those who do, you have their eternal gratitude and love!! I can't wait to see how he comes along with some training. I wish you all the best with every one of your gorgeous babies and look forward to seeing more videos. Much love and hugs from Montreal. xxx
My draft had issues with her hooves too, and we finally settled on glushu’s… and I am so relating to when stud man started playing … that’s what my draft started doing! Now her hooves have improved so much she needs a smaller size! I’m excited to take her trail riding this year and having happy hooves is vital!
I love your channel! It is wonderful how you take horses at risk and help them to heal and become better adjusted. We never had horses on our farm when I was growing up, but I've always loved animals. I love to see how you handle all the different horses and their circumstances.
I’m so impressed by your dedication and commitment to your calling. Thank you for sharing what you do. I vote for Skelletor to start the saddle training. Looking forward to seeing what you do next!😊
I also have watched this video multiple times. I love minute 3 when the broom falls over and who blows up? Nobody! I admire this guy; I love how you’ve given him so much time; and I am excited to see his further training.
You are one gutsy woman! I have nothing but respect for someone who would have the courage to buy such horses, along with the confidence to learn as you go as you begin the rehab process. You are way more than just clever, cowgirl! You are a force! I've watched quite a few of your videos, and I am humbled by your positive outlook in the face of such challenges. As for which horse to put under saddle first, my vote is for Studman. He looks great, and ready to embrace the work!
I don't have any experience with horses (except for watching Steve Young Horsemanship videos) but I think what you've done with this horse is amazing.
