Reeally glad the blowout didn't do any worse harm to anyone, or- most importantly- that beautiful GMC! :) Thank you for everything you're doing, Morgan. Much appreciated, much respect
My old 04 250 runs the 265 16’s…. They definitely don’t have the “cool looking factor” of those bigger super mud grips that all the younger guys slap onto their trucks… but a good 10ply with the AT tread has carried crazy loads and gotten the old Ford through some ugly conditions!!! I thought you boys had used a truck cab to fabricate a homemade camper topper and got a chuckle!!! I tossed a 14’ aluminum johnboat upside down on my truck’s ladder rack and I was super tempted to just screw up some aluminum roof material panels onto the sides and call it a super summer time camper!!! LMFFAO!
What a cool mission despite some delays and time spent. In the end the final product will be well worth it. Looking forward to seeing the rebuild of the “CrewKee”
I hope you sent that crescent wrench out for re calibration after the wheel well repair. The cab looks to be in way better shape than most. Nice purchase!
Hey I like that equal for balancing tires you can even always carry spares though don't buckle Billy carry a file on a you should always have spares and a Jack come on back😊🤟
I always enjoyed going on a road trip to pick up a new project truck or parts. Always an adventure meeting new people ect. I was hoping when I started watching the video that the cab you were getting was cherry. But it looks like you got some work to do. Hopefully not to many surprises under the filler. I restored lots of 67-72 Chevy truck and I only bought stuff that was original paint. That way there were no surprises. That being said the first 72 gmc I ever bought for a project was in primer. Let’s just say I had lots of surprises and learned fast. I’m sure you will make that cab look like new again. Excited to follow along
Have 17" on my 06 ram & did the same thing Morgan. I did put new tires on the front (pickup is a 5.9 litre diesel)but put used on the back & have been hauling wood & peterbuilt parts. Yes l am waiting for the shoe to drop but no flats yet!
Heck yeah!!! Morgan and Buckin! Great content brother! Loved the video!! Been trying to keep up on the live feeds and what not!! This is gonna be a sweet deal when ur done brother!! Prayers for safety for you both❤
Not rust free , and it’s the wrong colour . Nothing a bit of elbow grease can’t fix , looking forward to watching you put that cab in order Morgan . 👍🇨🇦
@@WildWestGarage I’ve never seen a roof on a pickup rust right thru like that before . A wet salty environment can do strange things . The cab mounts are the most important parts that need to be sound . Rust on old vehicles is to be expected . 👍🇨🇦
Hey Morgan, great video of the trip! I watch crabber on RUclips that any tool he picks he calls a hammer. Nice use of the crescent wrench. What ever works right. Glad you guys are having a good time. Thanks much for sharing!

Used bar and chain to start oiling your frame and body so it won't rusted out

I'd say, if you keep it under 140, yer tires will stay together! Like at 5:48. Lol
