Gary, I am literally crying right now watching this. As a women, who has been told her whole life (27) "why can't you just pick one thing? why do you like so many things, You won't ever be successful if you can't do one thing well" I spend time "finding your niche" feeling overwhelmed and defeated and like something is wrong with me. :( In my life, I've been a dancer, singer, podcaster, photographer, creator, and so much more but I AM ME. This was HUGE for me. I’ve actually DMd Gary a few times regarding this question. I’m a coach who helps people build wealth around their passions (can be anyone of any age) but some of my other friends who are coached in sales keep telling me I need to stick to just one area (I teach people finances, fitness, and psychology as it’s all related to achieving your potential). They keep telling me I need to super niche - i.e 40-55yr olds looking for one specific thing so I can charge 2-3k/mo (high ticket sales). I always appreciate their advice but just focusing on one little thing has always been hard.. I have so much to offer and always felt just being me is the right move. This verified it. Thanks Gary

Im stuck in this circle. what i got from this is you can actually put a label on yourself like entrepreneur just like gary v, so that people can remember you with such label, but for contents, you can do whatever you want with your style. There;s a damn famous youtuber in my country, he was a math student, he is totally smart, he went to japan for college and do youtube stuff filming himself doing his work, playing with his friends, visiting places, vlog, etc. but still he has the label as the "math person", now he is successful as hell, he has beverage business with over 125 outlet now less than a year if im not mistaken.

He really does pay attention to his audience, so many comments saying we were all thinking about this. Thank you Gary Veeeeeee!!

Amazing! This is something I've been struggling to figure out in the past 6 months. I've come to a similar conclusion to what Gary's saying, so am working to stay somewhat broad, but having consistency by bringing through my perspective on life through the lens of my eye. It's still "in work" as I try to produce consistently, but this really helps me feel I'm not wrong about my choice

It’s your life, your story. As humans we can change ourselves to live our happiest lives, that’s everyone’s niche.

I needed to hear this today! my gut is telling me to stay in my non-niche creative lane, but others are telling me "pick a niche" "you need a niche" blah blah blah. back to creating! Thanks Gary V!

What’s up Gary?? So to be clear, you don’t think someone should start in one area of content/themselves then broaden into different areas as their reach expands?? To be fair, your RUclips channel was solely wine, which you became an expert in, and as your reach expanded you started getting into many other fields up until today where we get every neuron in Gary Vee’s brain.

This just helped me immensely...I have a lot of interests and have struggled with "focus" hearing all the "niche" arguements out there. This is a cool way to reframe that concept and embrace my natural tendency to be interested in many things.

I always cringe when I'm asked about my niche. Because I kept on getting the advice to "narrow down, narrow down" But I only want to share whatever I have and I don't wanna limit my creativity and the value I want to provide as a creator. This was the only thing that holding me back. After listening to this, I am not ashamed to be multi-faceted anymore.
