WOW let me reframe that for the people who only understood the surface: it’s the story you tell after the fact, not the story you write and try to walk. You will NEVER walk the story you wrote which makes you lose twice, on the other hand you can move towards the target and make sense of the path that got you there, afterwards. Amazing

Revisiting this after learning about the Copenhagen interpretation & further diving into the double slit experiment (both quantum physics) and I must say, much of Gary’s advice perpetuates at a quantum level, and has application to many, many places outside of business & mindset. It’s theories (rules) are what our universe, is written on. Beyond just “hermetic” principles but, pattern recognition on an alchemical level

As humans, we're our own biggest critics, so we judge every decision we make in life no matter what. Gary is right when he says that the ability to make a non-judgmental decision is one of the most important things that will help you use your time wisely because once you make a decision, you have to let it go right after that. No time to think too much about it because you'll keep reflecting on if it was a good or bad one. You won't know until the results are in. Gary Vee helping one new business at a time. 🙏

Schedule the most important tasks first. Daile Kargeni in his books shares the opinions of famous entrepreneurs. They want to pay more for employees who can prioritize own time. It’s a big problem that many people want to cover everything. They start from less important tasks. It’s like learning a few languages and don’t speak fluently in one of them.

Also this is why intuition, something I've heard Gary you speak to also, is so valuable and an unfair advantage when it comes to decision making. When you know because you feel it, rather than pure analytical left brain movements, and looking back you see the fruit of it... It's an unfair advantage.

  • @catstickler

    I like that.
As long as I don't put us out of business, and stay in day-trader mode.
A LOT of people talk about the process. I find it just slows me way down if I'm always thinking about the process. (It means I'm not acting, and I'm usually judging myself and obsessing over the "right" choice.)
I know people who tell me (and their audience) to do 3 things a day in the business. My thought is always why limit to 3 things when I can do 30 things a day? 😂
So, I get you too. I'm a crash-through-the-door kind of operator too.

Choose one of your options and go hard af. If the data changes, then re-adjust your strategy on the fly. However, if you're fast enough to get 1 of those possible opportunities done, or find you its not for you, you can move on or hit the next target before the next guy even figured out what path to follow.
Make a decision, go balls to the wall, and adjust as needed.
