But he tried it anyways, and almost got clapped by the Hex Core. By Sky coming in her lifeforce was used as a sacrifice and provided enough energy/lifeforce for his hand to turn into an Arcane Hex arm. What's really sad about Sky dying is that way back in episode 6, when we see Viktor as a little boy with his boat. Sky is the girl that comes down to the waterfall to watch him play. Sky's had a crush on Viktor pretty much her whole life. And then she died for him.

One thing I love about this show (and this episode in particular) is that every protagonist is at odds with every other protagonist in different ways, for completely understandable reasons.
They made Councilor Medarda out to be ruthless at the beginning of the show, only to find out she's the LEAST ruthless in her whole family which was why she got banished.
I get Lupa's disbelief that the gauntlets were not made for weapons initially; but aren't most tools used as weapons as well? Like sure, a nail gun is to help nail stuff, but it is basically a gun... with nails as ammo.
People don't always die on impact even from considerable height, its not common but there are a even a few extremely rare cases that have been documented of people falling from incredible heights and surviving.
I'm coming back 2 years later because I rewatched Arcane recently and as soon as Cait touched Vi's face I immediately died laughing at a rather touching, intimate scene because your editor was/is a god damn hero of the people. I can't not think about the ship horn anytime I see Cait/Vi anywhere. It's so fucking good.

The problem isnt that the gauntlets can also kill people and not just mine. A pickaxe can be used to kill someone fairly easily. A STICK can be used to kill someone. The point is to have safeguards in place.

6:40 from the game there is an item called turbo Chemtank. It’s design for tank type champs (able to handle lots of damage or hold down enemies in big fights.) where you activate it you build up movement speed. Then after set time a shockwave releases wifh enemies close by become slowed. It’s design to engage/chase down enemies, crown control them and you or allies beat them down.
So fun fact: Jayce’s weapon in League of Legends is that hammer, and there it also can turn into a cannon, so for league players like myself, it’s really cool seeing it in action
Yeahh the problem with weapons is that lots of everyday objects can be used as one, so building a useful tool and it not be a possible weapon isn't always possible.

I don’t think y’all noticed, but there’s an animation during the fight where Vi uses the gauntlets to push herself upward and spin and I think that was the coolest part of the fight for me. I really hope they put her in the fighting game they’re developing. (Also the song for the scene slaps)

I get Lupa's disbelief that the gauntlets were not made for weapons initially; but aren't most tools used as weapons as well? Like sure, a nail gun is to help nail stuff, but it is basically a gun... with nails as ammo.
People don't always die on impact even from considerable height, its not common but there are a even a few extremely rare cases that have been documented of people falling from incredible heights and surviving.

The problem isnt that the gauntlets can also kill people and not just mine. A pickaxe can be used to kill someone fairly easily. A STICK can be used to kill someone. The point is to have safeguards in place.
