- This video explains Equinoxes and Solstices. viz., summer solstice, winter solstice, spring equinox or vernal equinox and autumnal equinox. Also the video explains with 3d animation all related concepts such as axial parallelism, reason for seasons, reason for day and night, revolution of earth, rotation of earth etc. This video has been made keeping UPSC curriculum in mind, but is also useful for all other competitive exams and school curriculum.

there is similar concept of equinoxes and solstices for the moon standstill cycle of 18.6 years which has declination of extreme -28 degree to 28 degree, it would be nice if you can make a video about that :)

I’m trying to understand, if the sun doesn’t move why does solstice mean the sun stands still?? That’s an indication that the sun actually moves right?! The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Sounds like the sun moves.
