- (SPOILER ALERT) Don't watch this if you haven't played the game. This is my edit of all Tenchu Wrath of Heaven cut scenes excluding the pre-rendered CGI opening. Also the video is chronological,I mashed up all of Ayame and Tesshus cut scenes in order of Rikimarus perspective.
The video is color corrected to make the colors more vivid and the contrast,brightness is adjusted because the original games settings were really dark in the video cut scenes were barely noticeable, hope you enjoy.
We need an hd collection of this game to be released on next gen. Tenchu is the best stealth game series i've ever played in my gaming life

Yes, I agree. I love Metal Gerar, but I must say Tenchu has a warmer place in my heart.

To light a candle casts a shadow. This line has some meaning. Still remember that line. Rikimaru was well developed and the I am Rikimaru I am a shadow is also so epic the way he talks it!
No game deserves more of a remake or a reboot than this series, let alone this game!!!

Damn I miss Tenchu, I even liked the one with Rin and Ayame. It's a shame the last memory most people have of this series is Tenchu Z.
Tenchu Fatal Shadows was great, a lot of people didn't liked it because Rikimaru wasn't on it but it had a really great storyline and new game techniques. Tenchu must come back again!!
Guillermo Di I personally preferred to play as two sexy badass female ninjas in Fatal Shadows instead. I think Rikimaru should have stayed dead, rather than being brought back to life.

That is right. No Rikimaru is no Tenchu. Rin and Ayame should stay away and I'm glad they are removed from Tenchu Z.
This game was so good, there were variety in missions, in levels. The third playable character played nothing like Tatsumaru and the Multiplayer was a blast. Hope From Software goes back to this series.

This was great and very reminiscent to the good old days when Tenchu was alive and well. Tenchu was always the most favourite ninja game for me. Hmm...memories that can never be forgotten. Tenchu for life!
Ah man.... Rikimaru and tatsumaru... Some had héros as their idols. I had shadows following me and watching me grow up.
I think Tenchu 2 has better storyline than Tenchu 3 but coop and multiplayer make this game really fun and enjoyable. I hope sometime Tenchu will be return to us.

agreed it was really great stealth game hell tenchu z which alot of fans consider the worse in the series still has better stealth mechanics then assassins creed

I remember playing this with my brother as kids, no other game needs a remake as much as tenchu.

Two endings are missing, 1st is Ayame's where both Riki & Tatsu come help with the latter carrying a box of explosives into Mei-oh as redemption while the other carries Ayame out ending with a reunion scene with the princess and gang, 2nd is a duplicate of Riki's ending but with different dialogue.
People compare this great series to Sekiro... but Sekiro doesn't have the Tenchu's soul. First - Tenchu is build and focused around stealth ( lots of tools, stalking the prey, combo stealth kills etc. ) Sekiro stealth is a joke. Missions had cutscenes and cool character development ( Ayame's and Rikimaru personality shined through in those ) Sekiro looks always constipated albeit storywise is ok.
They should have just made Tenchu with hand made missions ( add level editor for the community and we would have a perfect ninja game )
Tenchu 3 was amazing but Fatal Shadows had better level designs and a better plot and more realistic enemies.
I cant believe almost 20 years have passed since the release of Fatal Shadows. This was the very last PS2 game that I fully enjoyed playing. I remember the day I bought it and I remember I stopped playing at Level 6 because I didnt want to finish the game on my very first day.
This series really need a remake. Come on. There is RE2,3,4 Remake and even a Silent Hill Remake going on, there needs to be a Tenchu Remake. I cant believe this game series have been dead for such a long time.

Its similar to rikimarus multiple choice stage where the story branches. The sword gets either fixed with normal steel lowering its power or it gets the other swords evil steel. I believe it's at the stage when rikimaru asks if you want to fight onikage yourself or not

I as the matter of fact see what was the story about Tenchu 3 Wrath of Heaven/Return from Darkness! At the very beginning of Rikimaru's story that has been implied were clones that the CEO probably got himself into the process of creating them. Aka Rikimaru, Echigoya, Hamada, and Onikage! With Ayame at the other hand wipes out the Original of Hamada! And with Rikimaru at the other hand just wiped out the REPLICA! HE WIPED OUT THE CLONE OF HAMADA! And I KNOW THE REPLICA OF ONIKAGE WIPED OUT THE CLONE OF ECHIGOYA AS WELL TO THE POINT THAT THE CEO WAS OBVIOUSLY BEHIND ALL OF THAT PROCESS THAT HE MADE!! And within Tenchu 4 Shadow Assassins at the other hand, Ayame should nevermind what Rikimaru mistakenly did to Kiku! It was obviously Onikage's fault WHO MADE RIKIMARU TO WIPE OUT KIKU FOR NO REASON TO THE POINT THAT THERE WILL OBVIOUSLY BE A NEW TENCHU GAME COMING ALONG THE WAY FOR ME REGARDLESS!! 🇯🇵😎
