I love the fact that you considered what eras they played in and the competition at the time because that plays such a factor on their careers and honestly it would look different if the roles were reversed for some players. I think they all would have their own successes still but to what degree we will never know honestly. I love the top 10 you have and agree with just about everything there. Spectacular video mate! broooooooo!!! that means a lot - really cool to see someone return and enjoy another video. im working on a stream schedule during big games soon, def be on the lookout. appreciate you fr tho, thank u for the motivation!!
Personally I'd move Wilt up a bit. He actually had two championships one of which was with the 76ers where he put up some crazy solo carries. I think for his statistical dominance, atheleticism, and two rings + MVPs he has to be at least in the goat debate. Also think Hakeem should be on the same tier as Shaq. Hakeem was arguably the best two way player the game has ever seen - defensive monster while having arguably the best footwork of all time. Not to mention Hakeems two rings - while they were between the Jordan years, were some of the most impressive individually performances ever. Even in advanced metrics, Hakeem was a monster. His first ring was won on a team where he was the only all star and his second, while aided by an againg clyde drexler was still monstrous.
hahahaha thats fair - i know a few of them probably wouldn't sit right with some ppl. what's the biggest change you'd make? appreciate the comment and view fr :)
@@tophersthoughts Kobe's stats' accolade count, advanced stats are too low to make him the GOAT. Also he always gets a pass for his overhyped "clutch" performances, overrated defense and inefficiency. Maybe cracks top ten, but he doesn't have a GOAT case imo. MJ Lebron Kareem Magic Bird Hakeem Wilt Curry Durant Shaq Kobe Duncan
@@red._.thunderyt5472 These are the hardest 5 guys for me to rank tbh. I get the problem people have, but here are the biggest knocks I have on Kobe, Duncan and Shaq: Kobe would be probably TMac or James Harden at best if he never played for the Lakers. Most overrated NBA player who was in the right place at the right time with great teams, coaches and front officec. His stats/peak stats are nowhere near as good as Shaq, Steph and KD. Duncan: Never had a super impressive peak and basically load managed second half of his career and always played on awesome teams and people ignore the years he choked in playoffs and lost in early rounds Shaq: Peak is arguably greatest ever but didn't do it for long enough. KD and Steph are forces the NBA has ever seen and played in WAY more competitive leagues than Kobe Shaq and Duncan. KD is the hardest player to guard in NBA history and Steph literally changed every team's strategy. I would MUCH rather face a team with Kobe or Duncan than one with KD or Steph. Shaq--if youre more of a peak evaluation guy, then youre right, he belongs ahead of the other 4 of these guys.
