- In this video you will see what sometimes happens when you catch a coyote by 1 toe. It's a very unfortunate circumstance that does occasionally happen. Hopefully you can learn from my mistakes and get a better learning curve! I hope you enjoy the video. thanks for watching!!!
I appreciate your videos. I’ve definitely learned a lot.
Thanks for the great videos, keep up the good work
Thanks for all the tips!!! Finally after a long ,long time, I broke the ice this morning with my predator. I caught my first red fox!!! Got him with Cavens Canine force and red fox glands. Coyote visited him while he was in the trap and whipped up on him a lil bit.
That’s awesome!! Congratulations!!
Another great reality video that shows just how it truly happens, good & bad !
Great job !! 🤗
I will be putting out some sets tomorrow, our weather in Ohio will permit a few good days of trapping, I HOPE !! 🤗
I think your traps are contaminated, maybe burnt wax, i have never had that many traps dug up, and ive been trapping 20 years. Just giving my opinion and you're doing great, you're a good teacher and a good trapper stay at them brother!
So as a beginner, I’ve yet to catch. Last night after no sign for 2 days, I had a trap fired but no coyote. A pair (2 sets of tracks) came and set it off. So what’s my next move? Just reset? Do I change the set up,baits/lures? Will the same hire come back? Thanks in advance.
@@dannyo.4131 id change things up, and always try new things. its trial and error, you have to be patient let them hunt!
@@dannyo.4131not to barge In but I’ve been there man just reset that trap just like you had it and make sure that trap is 100% solid use a rock under the jaw or trap if you need to make it solid.
@@dannyo.4131First time that happened to me I reset and added a trap within 6" of the first one. Got him with both of them. Done that several times since to good effect.
Great work again! 100% like and recommend! 😎👍🐺🐺🐺
Great catches I’ve been having a few come by my sets but not committing. Using canine force and yodel dog by cavens. 💯🇺🇸👍
Good job. I think wax sand works better over wax dirt also
The wax sand is the way togo!!
Great video thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!
Congrats on hitting 10 K , 3 pound pan tension is the norm for coyotes , your trapping bedding appears to be solid so ,,,, you are introducing many different things to the ground your working with , wax sand , peat moss , the trap itself , the dye you use , the wax you use , an of course loose or disturbed ground , All of which have a smell to a coyote nose …you must eliminate one at a time to figure out what is causing the digging .. Goodluck BeSafe Out There
Awesome video bro! You got me excited to set my traps this weekend! 🔥🔥🔥
That's all I'm doing this weekend with my free time.
Congrats on 10k subscribers!
Damn you’re rough on them
I love your videos man! You got me in to trapping
Same here
Well done sir. Enjoyed it
Land owners " Hocker" probably landed on your pan ! Dam ! 😲
💪
Love the videos keep em coming. Did the sad card show the same k9 digging the set out
No, never got a video of it digging. But can’t always trust a camera to get every little thing that happens out there
Great video, waxed sand is king, tight chains
What do you do with your catch’s? I notice you put them in boxes
Thanks
Bob
Nice work
How far are you from Fayetteville NC?
Decent ways. Why?
@@CarolinaCoyote did not know. Was going to see if I could come out from a ride along one weekend. We also have a place on Lake Tillery. Was wanting to get into some coyote trapping and wanted to see how you set up your traps with the shock springs.
Hey Carolina coyote, I recently put a trench set in and made sure the trap was bedded solid. No rock whatsoever. But I got this smart fox running around and he just keeps uncovering the dirt off my pan. Any ideas on how to get him?
It sucks when they get out of trap. Guess I brought ya bad luck commenting the video of the one we lost on your Facebook 😢😂.
Sucks to lose em.....even worse to lose them AND the entire trap set, because the anchor failed, then have them on camera 6 weeks later. I have no idea how I'll ever get that one back in a set. I am moving the camera and putting a flat set in the middle of the road! The female I caught this morning was the second coyote in that set and it was a trench!!
I been thinking about making wax sand
I highly recommend
I run too many videos, many coyotes will refuse to step down into a trench set... just my experience
Just did a trench set this evening. With my dirt hole sets something has been getting my bait and trap was not tripped any clue what's doing that?
Raccoons drove me nuts doing that!
Raccoons love doing it
Those Lil boogers are smart as well 😆

Stop using your knee on the trap. You do catch a lot but if you stop contaminating them with your knee smell I think you'll do even better. Plus looks like a 450 I've done away with them for Coyotes to many toe catches
Good idea. All of my traps are 550s
