Mistakes happen man. Love the OC BTW! I'm excited for the new Pokémon to come out this Thursday on Netflix, I just read on there that Captain Pikachu can fly in a way I'm confused I've never seen any other Pikachu fly Puka never had the ability to fly neither did Spike Sparky all the wild Pikachu Gho's Pikachu any of them never flew and this makes me question. How is Captain Pikachu able to fly?
When Captain Pikachu defeats a couple of legendaries and two champion ace pokemon.
Then we can talk.
Ash's Pikachu takes this easily, but that's a Pikachu with over a thousand of episodes and Cap is incredibly awesome. It took the seventh episode for him to really grow on me and show me his own unique charm more. Ash's Pikachu has taken down two of Leon's Pokémon, while they were completely healthy, alone. That included the single strongest trainer-owned pokemon in the world, his Charizard. And who he called his strongest striker, his Cinderace. Ash's Pikachu has just... also beaten legendary Pokémon. Even if we're just not even talking about a Pikachu you're just not finding a stronger trainer-owned Pokémon than Ash's Pikachu yet. I mean, Ash did become the World Monarch after all.

Jean Luc is the ace of THE strongest trainer in the world, Cap is pretty impressive but if Jean Luc were in his place, the explorers would have had the butts kicked countless times like they were Team Rocket

Captain, he hasn’t actually gotten hit, so he might be frail, so being able to hit him might take Captain down in one hit

Cap is just cool. Presented as this "badass" more or less. However, this is just us reminiscing about Ash now that we've gone almost 2 months since the new anime aired and didn't have Ash and his Pikachu.

@@treman1 Thats clever, as a way to hint to the tera flying pika we got, I thought it wouldv'e been a ghost type since Cappy acts very much like a ghost as in episode 7 it kept disappearing and giving off that feeling but I think the flying type makes more sense

It's great seeing another video of yours Treman1! I hope you're enjoying the new Pokémon Horizons series so far, because I am. I do miss Ash and Pikachu though. I do still believe Ash's Pikachu is still the strongest between Cap, Friede's Pikachu, and Ash's Pikachu. I'm not even sure if it would change, because Friede's Pikachu would need to beat legendary Pokémon too, or Mega evolved Pokémon like Ash's Pikachu. Great to see another video 👍

We haven’t seen enough of captains pikachu’s feats to have this discussion. Og pikachu has beaten legendaries and elite four level Pokémon numerous times. Over time this can be a discussion, but being able to finesse a starter level mon and a ceruledge who we haven’t seen do anything besides what he’s done over the first 7 episodes is not enough.

@treman1 always underrated that leafage in first episodes was crazy it was like a z move and to see a grass type beat fire type amazing I intrested to see where quackly will go considering it's a starter with no story yet
Hope Ash returns in the series temporarily to interact with the new protagonists & supporting characters. And battle some of them, but not lose his title officially.

And second, choosing which Pikachu is stronger is like choosing which Superhero would win in a fight. Like Captain Marvel vs Superman or The Flash vs Quicksilver or even Batman vs Moon Night, it's a hard discussion to figure out.

Superman actually decimates unless it's like Smallville Superman, Flash is hundreds of thousands of times faster than Quicksilver, and Batman takes the hard L if they meet with no prior knowledge but if that is not the case Batman wins. Likewise, I actually think this is an easy, Ash's Pikachu is a stronger but, we haven't seen Cap's full power yet and there is the possibility that Cap can surpass the OG Pikachu. Cap is obviously strong but I have heavy doubts that Cap is fighting the strongest Trainer-owned pokemon in the world while damaged and already taking out another pokemon from one of the greatest champions ever strong. Ash's Pikachu scales to legendary pokemon and 2 of Leon's completely healthy Pokémon (and according to him his 2 strongest I believe, Cinderace and Charizard) and those are simply feats that I don't think we'll see a single non-legendary surpass for a while.
Ash Pikachu is still stronger than Captain Pikachu Ash Pikachu is super electric and Iron Tail Ash Pikachu can use a variety of moves.

I may have missed something, but when did Ash's Pikachu ever push through lightning rod? Which episode was it? Because I certainly don't remember him ever being able to get past a Pokemon that have lightning rod.
I do recall he got past Volkner's Electivire's Motor Drive, which is still bs, but still don't ever recall Pikachu overcoming Lightning Rod.
And I think it's unfair to say that motor drive is the same as lightning rod.

Not only that 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt is also a homing attack so if Cap gets in a range where OG Pikachu can see it can destroy Cap. So Ash's Pikachu wins.
The homing attack was also seen when Ash was going up against Steven Stone in Ultimate Journey's.
We saw ash's pikachu a lot over the years & I know it's easier to give ash's pikachu the win in this argument but we hardly seen captain pikachu really not even his background yet (if i remember correctly most of the time the battles he's in they get cut off early so we don't see him actually finish the battles fully) so i believe it's still too early to say. However, based on what we see so far I think captain pikachu has a lot of strength & potential that perhaps we don't know yet as this pikachu is no pushover I just think it's sort of hard to tell both got their strengths & weaknesses

If we take Ash's Pikachu from his peak against Captain Pikachu, then it's an easy sweep for Ash.
However, if we take Pikachu from Kanto only, then Captain Pikachu has this in the bag.
I think any of Pikachu's feats from Kalos onward can destroy Captain Pikachu.
However, Captain Pikachu has amazing potential and an insane movepool, so it'll be a fight.
Nah Orange Islands Ash's Pikachh is much better than Captain Pikachu, because Orange Islands Ash is a better Ash so is Johto Ash, or just any Ash that isn't Kanto or Unova.

@@grizzlycharizard0017 I'll say Kanto is better now, but we've only seen Captain Pika for seven episodes. Once he actually has a whole series under his belt he'll definitely have much higher potential than Kanto Pikachu.
As someone who's watched since Ash received Pikachu... I prefer captain. I was never on board with nostalgia.

Also Lightning Rod won't do crap against Ash's Pikachu Z-Move, because are we forgetting that Ash's Pikachu defeated Volkner's Electivire's Motordrive? I doubt that Captain Pikachu can handle 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt, that is just a no and should be impossible.

@@lilboygthorns7373 It is basically the samething as Motordrive, it absorbs Electric Moves. But the difference is that Motordrive boosts up the Pokémons speed. And Lightning Rod boosts up Special Attack if hit, which makes no sense for Captain Pikachu sense he is an Physical Attacker.
But still my point still stands, I doubt that Captain Pikachu can absorb Ash's Pikachu Z-Move, it would just overload his ability like it did to Volkner's Electivires Motordrive.

Ash's Pikachu wins against cap, due to the fact that Ash still has his normalium Z, so if Cap has lightning rod, he could use gigantamax or Breakneck Blitz, for double team he could use the strategy against Cynthia's Spiritomb in Ultimate Journey's, Ash's Pikachu wins no diff.
I can answer that question with one explanation. Ash's Pikachu can actually get the job done and get rid of the main villains. seriously form the very first time they met Ash's Pikachu has been sending Team Rocket flying every single time the cross paths. While Captain Pikachu can barley hold his own against Cerluedge. And before someone says that it's because Team Rocket was weak, need I remind you that Ash just started out on his journey with a little Pikachu and has taken down team rocket with ease almost every time while Captain Pikachu is supposed to be the bad ass one and the strong one who can barley even finish a battle

For now, I'm gonna say Ash's Pikachu is stronger. I mean he did help our boi Ash become Monarch, but given how much of a beast Captain Pikachu has proven to be, that could quickly change
I'm not sure of quickly because Ash's Pikachu simply has some crazy feats that basically any non-legendary is incredibly hard-pressed to answer. He has taken down multiple legendary Pokémon, some solo some with help, some with extra-freakin credit. (Taking down a legendary and STILL doing other work in the battle) He's also taken down two of Leon's completely healthy Pokémon Solo. The crazy thing is he called his Cinderace his strongest striker and Charizard his strongest partner, they might have very well been Leon's two strongest. I also think it's very obvious that until that point Leon's Charizard was the single strongest trainer-owned Pokémon. (Even people who had hax like Tobias don't cut it because Cynthia was champion in Unova still.) It's definitely still possible and Cap is a beast but Ash's Pikachu goes absolutely bonkers in terms of power scaling.

The man took out FOUR of Diantha's team on his own. Like, if Charizard was not Leon's ace, my bet is it would be Rilaboom
@@eljordinio7647 From what we saw sure, but Cinderace didn't even participate vs. Diantha, I think at least. For all we know Cinderace could've solod. (I'm saying this because Leon himself and Hop called Cinderace his strongest striker.) Rillaboom also preformed incredibly well vs. Ash so it very well might be his actual second strongest. I'm just more likely to believe that it's who Leon and Hop both say it is.

Once Cinderace Gmaxed, it got clapped in one shot by Gmax Volt Crash. I mean I know Cinderace is kinda frail but still it shouldn't go down that quickly. Even glass cannons like Greninja and Inteleon took more hits to fall
@@eljordinio7647 I mean yeah, you could either see it as Cinderace is that weak or, that Ash's Pikachu is holding a Light Ball and got some critical hit and is just literally the strongest trainer owned Pokemon. For all we know Rillaboom would've also been one shot from it despite the type advantage.

If you fans want Pokémon to have "power scaling",analyze their battle capacity very carefully,not just watch and leave it like that. Don't think that "cool moves" AUTOMATICALLY mean it's stronger. It's not always the writers who needs to adjust for us.😏
Going starting potential, captain Pikachu will probably end up much stronger than Ash’s pikachu later down the line. Just because we haven’t seen any feats yet doesn’t immediately mean that Friede’s pikachu is weaker, it just mean that there’s a lot of it we haven’t seen

Ashs Pikachu is obviously stronger lmfao dudes threw hands with a Regice and won, a Latios and tied, a Metagross and a Tyranitar in the same battle and smoked both of em, beat a Tapu Koko and the worlds strongest Cinderace and Charizard in the same battle back to back, Ashs Pikachu is literally a different breed
No matter what Ash's Pikachu will always beat Captain Pikachu, like everything you said in the video Captain Pikachu can't handle that. Also, I think Ash is a better trainer than Friede is, like he's the world champion he knows his stuff. So, Ash's Pikachu will always beat Captain Pikachu.
