With how big fishing kayaks are getting, I wouldn’t be surprised to see discussion of kayak size limits start to come up in tournaments, because at some point it just becomes a plastic John boat…

I want Bonafide to make a 16ft Skiff you can put a 6HP outboard on it. Like a solo skiff but make it more riggable and have a nice seat. I know for a fact they would sell like crazy. I would pay alot to have one.

That thing is the bomb! The one thing I love about the SS Rod storage inside the hull. I would greatly miss that on this new boat.
That is a slick platform. If I literally had not had my old Town auto 136 delivered yesterday I'd have a go at that.

They need to switch the kayak tournaments to no motors. And then make a tournament for all the hybrids and ones with motors.

Great video gene. You are getting old man lol. I guess I’m getting old too I can’t believe I’m 40 lol. I remember back in 2012 talking with you in your RUclips comments back in the prime days of RUclips fishing channels. I have followed you all of these years. I’m in the market for a new kayak that I can fish from, that I can stand up on, and that I can also use for deer hunting to haul harvested deer across creeks or through swamps or whatever. Any suggestions? I don’t want to have to spend thousands of dollars on something. I already have 2 kayaks and 2 boats in my yard I just want something that I can use as an all around type deal

Why did they decide not to have it pedal powered. Looks really interesting but would not work for me with having to be moroered
Yeah it's basically unusable without having a motor on it while at least pedal kayaks are good to go without having to get anything extra

I love my SS 127 but these kayaks are getting out of hand. Call it what it is is a plastic Jon Boat. It's 155 lb dry by the time you add rigging a person or two people in all your gear nobody's paddling that thing

This kayak must fall within the parameters for kayak bass fishing competition, it’s a monstrosity but also cool. For everyone else I don’t think they will choose this over a Jon boat. There’s a lot of feature packed small fishing boats on the market now. Nevertheless I’m interested in direction of the fishing kayak market is headed due to tournament angling.
So what’s the price tag for this? I will wait and hold my heart !
