@@NRP.fishing for me it came from getting hand me downs, my uncle gave me 2 bait casters in right hand learned how to use a bait caster fishing those and my dad who fishes lefty gave me 2 left hand spinning so its just what i grew up with and learned, anything different just feels wrong now lol

I remember when i found some Mann's soft plastic swim baits yrs and yrs ago this was probably 15+ yrs ago easy. I noticed s significant increase in the size of the fish it attracted it seemed every fish was atleast 3 pounds. And alot of 7+ or bigger would just wake behind it. Every cast was definitely exciting just waiting on that big wake to appear around the bait. I live in Florida so we got big fish. But if u want big ones swim and wake baits is the way to go

I love cats and dogs both. Have two dogs that are part German Shepherd, Hank and Ladybug. I have had many cats throughout my life. Adolf was the most unique cat I have ever met. He had to be wherever I was at all times. Rigging rods and putting new line on was always too much fun! And the boat, well, it was Adolf’s boat. He loved it when we were in the boat organizing and getting ready for a tournament! 😂😸

Ive been fishing spinning reels most of my life. I was taught to cast and work the rod with my right, reel with my left.
Ive been doing it since i was 8 years old, i never even thought about it until i bought my first baitcaster. It was so damn awkward, i sold it. Didnt pick one up for YEARS until a guide handed me a LH baitcaster.
It just felt natural to me.
Switching hands to reel doesnt make any sense to me. Doesnt make sense to reel LH on a spinning rod and RH on a bait caster.
Youll fish a lot better and enjoy it more if it feels natural. Who gives a damn if someone thinks youre doing it backwards.
All of the companies make them in LH, but they dont all make them in all of their models, and its rare to find a good deal...
