PINKPANTHERESS ‘HEAVEN KNOWS’ ALBUM FIRST LISTEN & ‘LOST IN TRANSLATION’ MOVIE WATCH ALONG COMING TO THE BOA CONSTRICTOR TIER ON PATREON THIS WEEKEND! 💞🐍💞
See, this is why music is so great because I think this is one of their best title tracks! What works for one may not work for others. It's why it drives me crazy when people say a song is bad! Also a little fun fact about Lalalala, it was considered for the title of 5-Star but they thought S-Class fit better and they were going to make this a b-side. But during the recording, Changbin realized really wanted to perform this so he talked to the powers that be and they swapped it out with Item. I just think it's so cool that their company really respects and listens to them when it comes to things like this. This entire album was a huge vocal flex. Combined with 5-Star, which is probs my favorite skz album, it was an amazing year of music from the guys!
In LALALALA There are movie & anime references One Piece and the Dark Knight on purpose in the m/v, they are big movie/anime fans. If you watch their behind the scenes vids they explain the meaning: The 4 scenes represent 4 emotions within the child (anger -pirates,, happiness-clowns, sorrow-white scenes, joy/pleasure-brown/black motif)Its similar to Inside Out (they reference the animated movie inside out as an example in behind the scenes). The child is battling stage fright aka the monsters that fade away. Basically the message is to just let all those other emotions disappear and enjoy yourself aka Joy/pleasure winning over the others emotions and the other emotions disappearing. There is a lot of play on korean words & Chinese characters in the language in the lyrics of this one. (Hence the Rock & Lock play on words) If you watch YT team Andy & Jas they speak fluent korean and they do an amazing breakdown of their lyrics, the word play & korean cultural references which helps A Lot!!! This album is full of such unique beats & a few vocal flexes. Bang Chan is such an amazing producer. Him being the genius behind most of their beats, I prefer to refer to him as a modern day Mozart cause he blends genres effortlessly and finds beats you never new existed. Hope this helps. ❤❤❤Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. 😊
There definitely was a lot going on in this MV however for me, it really made a lot of sense once I understood the story. I believe the intro video explains thee meaning behind the MV which aligns so beautifully with the lyrics referencing the Prologue video as well. Some one explained that the big monsters are the personification of emotions like stage fright for the kids. Each scene represents a different emotion based off the Chinese symbol in each scene - Happy (bank scene), Angry (pirate scenes), Sad (domino scene) Joyful / Pleasure (Mad Max scene). These dissolve over the MV leaving the last as the main emotion. Most fans assume the band are the past child versions of stray kids coz there are 8 of them. The chaos in the MV represents the chaos of performing and being in the spotlight. The choreo ends with skz giving the I love you sign to the kids like saying I love you to their past selves.
I totally get you about title track its a LOT even for skz. But as always its still good makes me wanna lern how to twert lol i love itt. Thanks for your reactionn ❤
THANK YOU FOR THIS FIFI! 🫶🏻I actually agree about the Title Track lol I love S-Class a lot more but it’s still a great song!! Also I just wanna say thank you for always pointing out the little things within songs. Like in Megaverse, so much is happening but you helped me hear certain things that I didn’t before!! ❤️🔥 SKZ are my ult group so I actually really thrive on noise music 😂but I love your take on all of this
I really enjoyed LALALALA but I agree that MEGAVERSE *definitely* should have been the title, or maybe like a pre-release/intro combined release track type with LALALALA? Also concur that this not my fav title but I still enjoyed
my only criticism with this title which i think would have made the big difference is the prechorus was too short! they needed a bigger build up to the chorus, this is one of their strongest chorus’ in my opinion but the song felt a bit rushed ☹️
It is a Rock album, I think the title track Lalalala was meant to be High octane rock. It’s an awesome some very catchy ❤. The video has explanation it’s actually cool

To me, the album is such a return to form.
I very much disliked their previous album, and they just brought up the hype with this one!
